Villa Mirvami Lovran is a unique villa, tucked away from other houses and boasting private access to the sea. The villa is situated on a cliff directly overlooking the sea and features a private beach, a large terrace and a beautiful Mediterranean garden.
Villa Mirvami Lovran comprises three levels: the first level, where the car parks are located; the second, the main level; and the third, known as the sea level. From the first level, you descend to the main level, where there is a large living area with a kitchen and dining area. The large terrace overlooking the sea is surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean garden (with a dedicated area for vegetables and herbs). Here you will also find a spacious summer kitchen with a lovely dining area under the pergola, as well as a barbecue and a separate outdoor toilet. From the terrace overlooking the sea, you have a spectacular view across Kvarner Bay and the islands. During the day, you can retreat from the sun at the dining table and on the sofas in the shade of the pergola. In the evening, you can sit on the lovely terrace right above the cliff and enjoy refreshing breezes from Mount Učka. On hot summer nights, there is another terrace above the private beach, where you can also go for a swim at night.
The third level, the sea-level floor, consists of two units: the suite with the master bedroom and a living room featuring a TV and a sofa bed. The suite has its own spacious bathroom and a utility room with fitted cupboards, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The other unit comprises a double bed and a bathroom. Between the two units there is an open corridor leading to the beach. The house has a private beach (accessible only from the house or from the sea) with an outdoor shower.
The villa was completely renovated five years ago and, in addition to the private beach, there are lovely public sandy beaches near the villa.Villa Mirvami Lovran is situated in the small town of Lovran, 6 km from the famous Austro-Hungarian resort of Opatija, in the Croatian region of Istria (in Kvarner Bay). The nearest towns are Rijeka (20 km) and Trieste, Italy (70 km). Off the coast of Lovran lie the beautiful islands of Krk and Cres. This part of Kvarner Bay is famous for its specific climatic conditions: During hot summer days, it enjoys a gentle shade in the late afternoon, making it ideal for those who find the summer heat oppressive. For these reasons, the Opatija Riviera and Lovran have been a health resort for respiratory ailments since the 19th century. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Lovran – a small and charming Venetian town with a pretty square in front of the church and a market square (selling local and organic produce, with a butcher’s and fishmongers offering fresh fish daily). There are several excellent restaurants in Lovran and the surrounding villages. Near the house (a 5-minute walk) there is an excellent restaurant serving home-cooked meals.
