The steep, winding streets of the old town are home to well-preserved historic palaces, numerous art galleries and studios. Various jazz and classical music festivals take place during the summer months. The town boasts several excellent seafood restaurants, serving a wide range of local produce, as well as many cosy cafés, ideal for soaking up the relaxed atmosphere.
