As the name may imply, Trullo Cupido is the perfect retreat for couples wanting to get away from it all. This restored, traditional trulli house has been comfortably furnished with simple décor and exposed stone, in keeping with the design of the existing trullo. Located just outside the sleepy town of Locorotondo, the villa is within easy reach of the shops, bars and restaurants on offer. A little further afield, the UNESCO World Heritage town of Alberobello is definitely worth a visit to witness its picturesque, hillside trulli houses and to sample some fantastic local dishes and gelato!

It was a beautiful Trullo in peaceful surroundings. Excellent for a get-away retreat. A couple of basic things to note; the hairdryer needs an adaptor and only one socket in the kitchen makes it difficult to boil the kettle and microwave at the same time! However, the welcome was friendly and the fresh fruit, water and biscuits a lovely gesture. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together at the villa and would recommend it to anyone.

Kent Family (with only pre-school children)
After staying at the Vila for a week at the end of June as a family of three with a four and half month baby in what must have been one of the hottest weeks of the year with the daily temp of 35-40 Dec and dropping to 26/28 in the evening the need for ac is a must it has heating for the winter period so the excuse that a trulli doesn't get hot or cold is nonsense. The area is very remote so a car is a must. Everything also shuts between 3-7pm which is also not ideal with a baby. The Vila was equipped with all your needs and with a good supermarket close by self catering is possible.
