Beutiful bay and great little beach bar ..
Absolutely amazing villa
Absolutely beautiful villa and setting. The villa has everything you could want/need. The location is brilliant as well, 10 minutes to Alcúdia and 10 minutes to Pollença. The villa has a lovely amount of space especially when travelling with children! Will definitely be back!
This has to be on your to do list, at the top of the island at glossa , one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. The view from the table is awesome looking over loutraki harbour, and the food is amazing, the staff are first class and very friendly, we were there at the end of season so missed out on being able to dine on the roof, park on the road to loutraki or on the square near the butchers, because glossa is pedestrian only, narrow pretty streets, and before you reach agnanti, climb the curved steps to the right, to get to the tiny town square, well worth the 40 minute journey from Skopelos town where we were staying.
Worth the winding mountain road up for the view from the top. Absolutely stunning. Little cafe at the top too, selling ice creams and coffee
Fantastic food been here three times and going back on our last night for paella which has to be ordered in advance service excellent and prices reasonable
Had a great time in this villa can't wait to go back!!

Local taverna with extensive menu and good views. Good food and good value
This is a really nice clothing optional beach (50% naturist after the beach bar in the middle. So much space you can have all the privacy you want so perfect for first timers.
Have stayed in many James villas in many places but this is definitely the best view. Had a lovely holiday. We did lots of things the first week with the younger generation and relaxed on the second week.
Loved Keri Beach and spent quite a bit of time there. Tried the quieter spots off track but got a puncture so put us off.
Hired a boat from Captain's Rentals at Keri Beach. It was brilliant, we had a skipper and the four of us got 3 hours seeing all the best bits.
We went to the water village on Thursday (quietest day according to Jane) which was fun. Drove Charlotte and Max into Laganas for the evenings which they loved (aged 21 and 23) they got taxis back which cost about €15.
Went on a Shipwreck and Blue Caves tour which wasn't as good but the drive to St Nicholas Port was spectacular.
Jane has been extremely helpful recommending places and sorting out the pool pump when it stopped working.
Dennis Taverna will come and collect you from the bakery and return you in the evening if you eat there.
The best restaurant was Skloubou's at Agios Sostis.
We stayed in binibeca nou during our holiday and it was lovely. As we stayed at the end of the season some restaurants were closed but if you don’t mind walking then about 10mins up the road is Binibeca Vell where you will find some more variety or restaurants :)
We had a lovely stay at villa beatriz! Perfect location and huge pool. Would definitely stay at this villa again! We were so sad to leave!

Voula and Pepos
Thank you for your beautiful villa. Despite a couple of cloudy mornings and a couple of very windy evenings we have had a relaxing and lovely holiday. Victoria has been amazing keeping the villa spotlessly clean so a very big thank you to her.
Places we have enjoyed -->
Keri - hire a private motor boat to visit Keri Caves and Turtle Island then finish off the day with a visit to the tavern for an ouzo and beer. Food ok there as well.
Porto Roxa - Ionian Taverna for lunch then a free sunbed or cradle to have a sunny siesta.
Cape Skinara - fantastic views over to Kefalonia and boat trip to the Blue Caves. Beware the long walk down to get your boat - lots of steps for old knees like ours!!
Agios Nikolaos Bay - is really lovely. Sit and watch the boats and catamarans struggle to berth!
Zakynthos town - lovely drive to get there. Plenty of places to park on the front then a slow stroll along the front with a meal in the town.
Alykes - lovely beach, sandy, so not ideal on a windy day. happy hour cocktail then a meal at Jo Paradosiano. Fabulous! Probably the best restaurant we have visited this week - no, definitely the best!!
Restaurants we have eaten at
Selen - decent home cooked food but avoid the red wine at all costs!
The Cross Taverna at Kambi - lovely views, ideal to see the sunset. Food ok, wine ok.
Alexandro at Maries - very good value, lovely home cooked food, very friendly tavern.
La Bruschetta at Keri - lovely Italian as a change from Greek cuisine. Food very good but a little more expensive.
The Old Mill at Loncha - avoid. The worst Greek meal we have ever experienced in 6 years of visiting the Greek islands.
This has been a wonderful first week of our two week holiday in Zakynthos. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chloe; we have chilled out and relaxed in and out of the pool, we have had a bit of sun, eaten well and drunk well.
Lovely memories to take on to the next villa and to take home.
We've had an enjoyable stay here at Isabella. The property was generally even nicer than the online pictures, whilst the service from the outside team (especially the maid) was first class. This villa offers excellent value for money.
The car hire proved essential - the village is just too far away to walk (especially the steep climb on the way back!)
Some recommendations for fellow travellers:
Enjoy your stay. Thanks Pepos, Victoria and Voula.
Just beautiful, take your breath away views
We have had a beautiful two weeks in this amazing 'Maria Villa' and loved every minute.
Highly recommended hiring a boat from Big Blue and venturing the high seas for yourselves. Fantastic day out!!
Every restaurant and bar we visited was so nice we didn't have a favourite. Argassi and Zakynthos were both amazing for shopping and eating etc.
The sea views from this villa are amazing and make sunrise and sunset very special times of the day.
Very well equipped inside and comfy too!
If you're driving, be careful!
We're sad to be going home and this island and its lovely people will stay with us. Would love to come back in the future.

Thank you! to George and Magda and the whole team at Villa Ambassador for a very warm welcome and amazing service throughout our two weeks here.
We had a fabulous time truly relaxing here to celebrate my 50th birthday!
The villa really does have everything you could wish for from a home from home and we loved using the pool - day and night - very refreshing.
But our overriding memory will be the spectacular views including a couple of stunning sunrises over Turtle bay/Island!!
Thanks you Zakynthos
Light and airy, comfortable and with a feel of home. We'll just have to go back.
Here for 2 weeks. Lovely villa, stayed in Naisy last year (next door), this is the better of the two, gets the sun longer and more private. The staff are so friendly and helpful from the cleaners to the pool cleaner, nothing is too much trouble.
Had a lovely welcome from Jane welcoming us back and was pleased to catch up with her again. The personal touch goes a long way.
The 'Killer Bank' didn't seem too bad this year.
After coming here for 3 years the staff in the restaurants become more like family than friends, everyone is so genuine, helpful and friendly. Couldn't wish to meet nicer people. See you again next year.

This was one of the better villas great location 5 mins walk to the main town of coral bay. Really clean and tidy.
Traditional Greek food, superbly presented & cooked to perfection. Good value.
Beautiful Villa. Perfect for anyone!
Stunning view from the balcony in the master bedroom!
Well, what a fantastic week we have had! Spent a good few days enjoying the villa, plus great days out at Keri beach (where we hired a speed boat for the afternoon - MUST do!) Also lovely day at Casa Playa. We visited Barbara Beach and St Nicholas Beach before finally settling at Casa Playa, which had something for everyone. St Nicholas Beach was lively but the sea was not very nice due to the amount of seaweed. No such issue at Casa Playa, so would recommend this one. Nice sun beds for only €6 each for the day. Menu was also good with nice food.
Some nice restaurants in Zakynthos Town, also went to the Utopia, again very nice. But our favourite was the Ekapteoconi (card in guestbook) which is only 5 mins from the villa (turn right at the bottom of the hill and you can't miss the signs on the right hand side.) Great service, great food and lovely atmosphere! Not great on the desserts side, but they bought us some complimentary Figs which were gorgeous!!
Loved Zante, loved the Villa Aloni, no doubt we'll be back very soon.
PS Thank you to Jane who gave us some gret advice and tips...
I loved going to Banana Beach there was a lot to do there, were cute fish and the sea was very warm and I would recommend it. - Abi age 11 :)
Please remember to go and visit the Sea Life turtle REscue Centre next to Gerakas Beach, to visit the animals and especially the goats as there is a very cute goat called Dizzy (we named him) who has braqin damage and is adorable so remember to go and say hi! - Lucy (14)
This is our second time in Zakynthos having stayed on the south east of the island last year in a villa near Agassi. This year we wanted to experience the less commercial aspect in the west.
Firstly let me echo all that the other guests have said about this wonderful villa and most importantly our hosts Voula, Pepos and Victoria in that their friendliness and professionalism has made our stay even more amazing. Victoria has kept our villa clean and tidy and we can't thank her enough.
Villa Chloe has provided superb seclusion and privacy and our 4 daughters have loved the swimming pool!
I've read all of the previous recommendations but what I will say is, don't be afraid to venture out and explore the island, that way you discover a few hidden gems. Road signs aren't great but if you have a reasonably good map you soon get a feel for seeking out villages and get a sense of direction.
That said, let me tell you about some of our escapades...
Keri Beach - is very pebbly, not many sandy areas. The beach slopes gently into the sea and stays shallow for a long while - great for kids.
Dafni Beach - Opposite the more commercial Banana Beach to the south of the island. Beautiful, long sandy beach but no shade on the beach. Shade can be found in the 3-4 tavernas but we advise to take your own brollys and beach mats.
Alykes - ***our favourite*** Lovely soft sand, sunbeds and brollys on the beach. Good tavernas and bars and lovely sloping beach into the sea. You go out to waist height for a good 20 - 30 metres, so great for kids. BRILLIANT
The little shop down the road is good for top ups (milk, bread etc) but suggest using the Express or Lidl stores for bulk shops. Express quite good for meats and cheeses.
Taverna Sunset @ Kambi (left down the road when you turn right onto the main road for the village) Good quality food and beautiful sunset! A defo go and see.
Selene Taverna - Basic food, pizza is good. Limited menu.
Garden of Tastes - Agio Leon village (to the left of the main shop in the village) Expensive food, good crepes though - recommend the Strawberry crepes. NOT A ZOO - trust me! Does have a small kids play area and a few animals.
***Jo Pavadosiako Taverna in Alykes*** (if sea to your left - exit Alykes heading towards Alykanaas, just on right as you exit the main town) BRILLIANT - our best restaurant. Great food, good menu - very popular and takes bookings (phone number in guestbook)
We also ate in a lot, didn't get to use the BBQ but see others have used it.
THINGS TO DO
Sunset @ Kambi - beautiful - a MUST!
Sarakinado Water park - went twice last year and twice this year, kids love it and it's a good waterpark. ***TIP***Print off discount vouchers available online.
Drive to the Blue Caves (beautiful photos) and take a boat trip.
Shipwreck by car - not great, really busy. It's ok, you can walk across the mountain if parked up - take some decent shoes as flip flops won't cut it! Boat trip best way to visit.
All in all an excellent holiday, 2 weeks in a lovely location in a tranquil, serene villa with wonderful hosts. Villa cleaned daily.
Awesome holiday from the 6 of us!

Great setting for the pool!
Excellent villa, fabulous pool. Definitely recommend this to anyone. Thank you very much.
This is our second visit to Villa Vivary, the new floors and sofas make the villa even nicer and, as usual we loved our stay here.
Our two boys loved the pool and we made full use of the bbq in the evenings.
Hoping we'll be back next year, our home from home.
Lovely food tried the Turkish Pide with lamb & the Mixed Kebab platter- both seriously good. Great homemade bread too.
A beautiful historic and friendly town.

Fabulous way to get off the beaten track. Rory and Claire offer fantastic scenic tours on quad bikes. We were a group of 2 adults and 2 children (children rode as passengers) and found the quads really easy to drive. Price includes local pickup, all fuel training and insurance. Highly recommend, simply a must do activity. www.quad-Ventura.com
We are a family of five,
Very happy with the villa, beautiful grounds and a lot bigger than the pictures show.
Swimming pool was the main attraction (especially in the evening) and loved by the whole family
Very clean and spacious
Wish we could of stayed longer
Great family villa with a great pool to have fun in!

Accommodation is excellent. Very clean, well equipped and spacious. Only very small point to note is the dryer is ineffective. However we were advised all are the same on the complex due to the model of the combined washer/dryer. This isn't a problem though as it's certainly warm enough to dry washing outside on the large airer provided. Would definitely recommend a visit here and would be happy to visit again.
We had a fab week staying here in Saltwater. Beautiful villa and great location.
As previous guests have written, there are some great restaurants here and we took their advice and tried them all, had some great meals.
Planet Pub is also really good if you like watching football and a great atmosphere.
The locals are so friendly and Dennis the owner, is a fountain of knowledge, lovely guy!
We have had an amazing time at this beautiful villa. Peppos, Voula and Victoria have been wonderful hosts. Zante is a great island and we have seen pretty much every inch! The water village was a good boys day out for my son, we loved the Go Karts so much that we had to go back again!
Beware of Porto Vrani (Shipwreck Beach Tours), it gets very, very busy so go early morning to ensure a boat...we tried 3 times!
We visited a lot of beaches but settled on Kalamati beach as the best for swimming.
We ate at Selena Tavern and the Sunset Tavern both of which were so good, we went back again!
Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable
PS. Don't bother with the Lidl - AB over the road is 10 x better!
We've had a really lovely holiday! A beautiful, peaceful villa which is extremely comfortable.
The local people were absolutely lovely. There were two silver/grey bowls for a lovely mother cat and her kitten. Please find time to feed and cake for them, they are strays.
We fed them on the step every morning and the local supermarket sells cat food.
Enjoy your stay!

A wonderfully relaxing week spent at Villa Maria!! With the weather constantly in the mid 30s we've basically spent our time relaxing in and out of the lovely pool, sipping Mythos (and highly recommend Alfa beer too) and reading novels...bliss!
The restaurant on top of the hill from here (loved gazing up at it lit up at night) is lovely, very friendly staff. BUT best restaurant (we discovered on last evening here) is Zorba's in Agassi - fab grub, and v tasty waiters too!!
Molly Malone's bar on the main strip in Agassi is fun, lovely staff and great for a chilled out game of Crazy Golf (you can even carry your drinks round with you ...result!)
If you've hired a car - like we did - please drive carefully as the other drivers, mopeds and quad bikes zoom along like nobody's business ...Yikes!!
Took a 6km (approx.) drive along top road (turn left at top of lane) to Vasilikos Beach, (€5 to hire a beach brolly and 2 sunbeds) and a crowded but lovely, sun-kissed time was had on the sandy stretch there, gorgeous warm, clear sea... and then a beautiful meal in a little restaurant at the top of the hill away from the beach - look out for it, they have tables atop a tree house structure, perfect as the sun sets over our beers.
Can't believe it's only been a week here. Fab villa, can't fault it and will definitely return if we get the chance. Oh! And everything seems so cheap! (Let's hope Brexit doesn't spoil it!)
Have fun folks!
Lovely villa, pool. Location is great with amazing views. Lovely beaches, very close, great restaurants. - Georgia
It is a long way along rutted roads/paths to Daphne Beach (2.4 miles). good footwear is required. We had forest fires whilst we were here and Jane kept us informed and up to date. They got quite close but we did not feel in danger. Fantastic views, the best villa we have had from James.
Worth going on a boat trip from Keri, we had a motor boat for a couple of hours and then went back another day for a boat trip (€10) very good value, 3 hours on a boat.
Fab Indian restaurant in Carvoeiro- excellent food and wine, and look after the little ones really well. A must if staying in the area
Delicious main course of Veal and Bailey's ice cream to finish with a lovely sunset.
Great villa - nice and secluded. Having two pools is great! Saw lots of wildlife and a lovely garden.
Second visit to Montecillo - feels like a real home from home! The trouble with a villa like this is you don't want to go anywhere.
We visited Frigiliana for a couple of dinners and made it to Grenada to visit the Alhambra. Very good BUT get your tickets in advance eg. if you are reading this - it's too late :)
Food was lovely, waiters friendly. A bit on the expensive side though

A good place to go to spend a couple of hours. It's well organised and reasonably priced with a selection of packages to choose from and different karts for different age groups. For anyone not wanting to take part there's a cafe with a viewing area, which serves a variety of soft drinks, smoothies and alcoholic drinks and also hot drinks and food.
This Chinese restaurant was extremely good. Service was quick but not rushed and the food was really good. The price was very reasonable, in fact we had to check that they had everything on. The restaurant was extremely busy whilst we were there too.
Really chilled atmosphere. Love this place

We went here for the 2nd time, this time was for an amazing breakfast (Greek omelettes which were huge and delicious!) and the view is simply stunning. It's perfect location on the sea front means that you can order some drinks, go for a relaxing swim in the Mediterranean and come back for some pittas and dips! Yum! x
The mountains surrounding Soller and the Port are spectacular! The resort is very unspoilt and beautiful. Trains/Trams are an added bonus. This was our second visit, and I would love to go back.
A beautiful villa in a wonderful position with incredible views (sun up in the morning is wonderful!!)
Drove to Puerto Vrani, a lovely drive with incredible views, parked easily and booked a boat trip to the shipwreck and caves. The shipwreck was interesting but spoilt a little by how busy the beach was. Absolutely loved seeing and swimming in the Blue Caves. We have never seen the colour blue like it, astounding.
Zakynthos Town is fun in the evening for a drink/ice cream and a walk around the shops or port. Agassi is good to visit for a meal/drink and we absolutely loved the restaurant Aguadi (you can see it on the hill). Traditional food, good service and spectacular views.
Kaminia Beach is literally 5 mins drive away, small, quiet with a lovely beach bar selling food etc. Good for snorkelling.
Spin Spot is a beautiful little pottery shop as you drive out of Agassi, we bought several pieces (really well made and unusual).
As with previous comments, the mosquitos and wasps are annoying! Strongly recommend a good insect repellent!
We had a wonderful time and are sad to go home.
G aged 12 - I particularly enjoyed the pottery shop and the town, as well as getting my hair braided. My favourite shop would have to be the pottery shop though, with many gorgeous, unusual trinkets. I have loved it here, I would recommend it to everyone looking for a peaceful getaway. I am sad to leave, I loved every second.
S aged 11 - Villa Maria is an amazing villa to stay in and has all the working facilities you would need. I (along with the rest of my family) have very much enjoyed our stay! and hope to be returning soon
Lovely, relaxing stay in a wonderful villa! Just what we needed after kids A levels/GCSEs.
Voula and Pepos were very welcoming and did a great job of looking after us and Victoria was amazing at keeping the villa clean and tidy.
The highlight of our week was sailing on the Soliton (see leaflets) to snorkel in Keri Caves.
We also loved shipwreck Beach - recommend leaving after 3pm as the crowds had died down.
Sunsets at Cross Tavern were beautiful and the fresh fish is well worth a try! However our favourite sunset was watching from the rocks at Porto Roxa beach after diving from the cliffs and a meal at the Ionion tavern.
The Agios Leon Bakery every day for fresh bread and frappes.
Dennis Taverna had a nice setting and food on the way to Zakynthos.
Overall a lovely week!
Where do we start? A really wonderful week - went all too fast.
Yiannis is lovely and very friendly, thank you. Jane is a superstar and nothing seemed too much trouble. Thank you Jane and thanks for all of your advice and recommendations too.
'Big Blue' is the best place for a boat rental in Keri. Phone ahead and book, you'll have the best 2/3 hours at sea swimming, boating, relaxing and searching for turtles.
The Lighthouse Restaurant is great for their very popular sunset watching - park up the hill facing down so you can leave early, the car park gets packed and it takes a while to leave. So worth it though and a lovely evening out.
Driving is crazy here and wouldn't recommend the quad bikes but car hire is fine.
The villa is amazing - great space and facilities, kept clean and well organised by Yiannis and his wife - thank you.
Good eateries in Tsilivi but our best restaurant was Taverna Ammos in Zante Harbour in the square. We booked ahead for 8pm and it was super popular and busy. Amazing and friendly staff - wished we found it before our last night!!
Oh well, we'll have to come back.
Have a great stay.
A really beautiful villa with breathtaking views!
So much luxury and comfort in one place. This really was the best place for our party of 11 to holiday. This is our second stay in a James Villa and once again we will be leaving, hoping to come back!

Stayed in Il Mulino in Tuscany, absolutely loved this villa and the peaceful sleepy village it is set in. Would definitely go back.
Wonderful beach, white sand, rocky areas too. Resort very accessible. A very family friendly resort, with everything you need.
We fell in love with the villa and the island as soon as we arrived. This is a beautiful place and every day we found something new to see or do. There are some super reviews in this book and we agree with them all.
Our favourite boat trip was with Renata Boats from Port Vroni - read her reviews, she is excellent and on a small boat you get to see/do so much. Great fun if you like swimming in the caves
Our boys loved jumping off the rocks at nearby beaches and the beaches we discovered with the boat we hired. We all loved swimming in the sea.
We went to so many nearby villages as we could to have a coffee and explore. Bought local produce (fantastic honey and wine) The Garden of Tastes nearby does amazing grapes!
The days at the villa were a delight watching the birds and butterflies. The kids (and us) loved the pool
Thank you so much to the owners and their lovely daughter, you made our stay perfect.
We have had the most amazing 2 weeks in Villa Ambassador! Have stayed in many different countries and can honestly say this is probably one of the best villas we've stayed in.
It has so many extras compared to other villas we have rented. The views are lovely, the pool has been a welcome relief to the hot weather. Have used the gym on a daily basis which has been great.
Have visited many restaurants and can recommend Isolas, La Bruschetta and a bit further away Essence which is in Kalamatic
We hired a boat for a couple of days which is an absolute must!
Thank you so much to James Villas, George and our villa rep Jane who is an absolute delight!

Very spacious outside living
The inside was nice as well
We only really slept and showered in the villa
It was outside living and this villa is perfect for that
Would only say the welcome pack we ordered was ham cheese water a loaf of bread and loads of rich tea type biscuits
Certainly have had better welcome packs
The villa was brilliant
The church in Xalo town centre that is lit up at night and visible from the villa terrace
Fantastic villa with great views ..couldn't ask for better ..
3 Villa in Costa Verde recommended by you
The most beautiful villa with the loveliest view. Stayed in many James' and this was as good if not better.
Would recommend Big Blue boat hire at Keri for an enjoyable day. If you are wanting to see turtles, a lot of the glass bottom boat tours throw tomatoes which turtles surface to eat, so may be an idea to bring some and throw them in at turtle spotting areas.
Also in Keri, the Lighthouse Taverna is an amazing spot with beautiful views and a platform that stretches out over the cliff.
Locally, the coffee house at the bottom of the road to this villa is wonderful with the nicest staff. We managed to catch a traditional Greek band playing live music on the Saturday and would highly recommend this.
Also, if you drive up to the last villa/house on this mountain road and park, you can walk a short distance up the side of the mountain through the trees, a convenient zigzag path with a gradual incline is there. You can find a viewing platform coming out the side of the mountain with breath taking views.
Gerahas and Alhyes beaches are beautiful
Fantasy mini golf in Argassi was also very enjoyable and the staff are very friendly.
Emjoy your stay but watch out for Greek drivers!
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa! Very comfortable and has everything a family would need. Superb views from the balcony, especially at sunrise.
We visited Shipwreck Bay and the blue caves which were fantastic. Zakynthos centre itself is spectacular, particularly at night and people are warm and friendly.
Gerakas Beach was also very nice though the kids wanted to be by the pool more. We have had a really lovely holiday and hope you do too.
We had a lovely time at this villa, we spent most of the time in the pool and we had drinks in the hot tub. Wow! (Millie age 6)
This restaurant, is well worth a visit, reasonably priced , superb food, and friendly service. Probably one of the best restaurants in son bou!!
Dear Demitris and Meni,
