Easy night beside the pool

We have just had a 2 week holiday staying at Villa Principe, Pertici near Groznjan, Croatia. the villa was outstanding everything was catered for, the pool being the standout feature! The weather could not have been better, hence having regular dips in the pool too cool off.
Groznjan is a wonderful little village very pretty, with about 4 restaurants and a few more bars/ cafes. Their is a wide range of shops selling the artists work and souvenirs , The is live music every night and the village has no cars bar a few roads.
Villa Principe is about the 1 Km from the village on a single track road, it is furnished to a high standard and the beds are very comfy, the owner Silvio was swift to assist in a WiFi issue. I would highly recommend staying, it is stunning.
The cost of food and drink is very cheap 2 L of the local beer is £3.40 !!! And a meal for 4 plus drinks was on average about £50. Pool was a welcome retreat from the blazing sunshine & definitely made the holiday.

If you're looking for a villa with the wow factor this is it!
Fantastic views, all bedrooms spacious and en suite, very spacious inside and out.
Would definitely recommend to family groups or friends.

Beautiful welcoming pool!!

Just had a week in this Villa. What a fabulous location. The garden is beautiful and has a fantastic pool. The villa has everything you need. Would definitely recommend for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Nicely laid out accommodation with the bedrooms on the cooler ground floor. Well equipped kitchen with toaster, coffee machine and microwave. All seems in very good order and looks as if it may have been recently decorated.

An amazing villa perfect in every way. The owner was lovely and also brought us a lovely cake. Highly recommended clean and well maintained

Excellent villa, very well equipped with excellent space.
The location is great with just a few minutes drive into Coral bay.
The owner was delightful and brought us fresh apricots.
It is very quite and private too with a nice bar Yalos just down the road.
Easy to get to the sites of Paphos the mountain range of Truro's. etc
Polis and the harbour are worth a visit, good for food. The old village of Kathikos is a short drive away.

So inviting

A traditional Majorcan farmhouse converted into a holiday villa. Plenty of space inside and out of this characterful property. Be aware the pool is salt water not chlorinated. It's the first time we've had a salt water pool and we were very pleasantly surprised. It's very mild and we found we preferred it. This isn't the most modern of villas but it's beautiful and full of charm.

Villa Fig Tree is beautiful. Well equipped, comfortable and in a quiet spot, so very peaceful. We are coming to the end of an amazing 2 week holiday here and we have been so impressed. The maintenance men come a couple of times a week to clean the pool and do anything else that needs doing and there's a weekly maid service. Kerry, the villa manager, is lovely: nothing is too much trouble, and living on the island permanently she has fantastic local knowledge.
If there is a downside, and it's probably more of a personal one than a general issue, the steps of the pool are very deep and with my arthritic knees I have struggled to get in and out - but I've still been able to enjoy the pool so it's no big deal.
This was our first time with James Villas and we would definitely use the company again. We have been very happy here and love the ambience in the town and surrounding area. It's a shame we have to go home reallly! I could easily live here!

What a view

Once you find the villa (it's so straight forward you overlook it) it's a very comfortable and well appointed place. It has good facilities (even the WiFi works well) and is quite spacious and well laid out. Pool isn't the biggest but is enough to cool off in and a guests handbook wouldn't hurt although everything is pretty self explanatory in the end. Kolympia has plenty of places to eat (Nikos is well worth a look). If, like us, you arrive in the middle of the night on your rescheduled flight, look out for the Silk oil petrol station on your left, over the lights and on your right is the entrance to the complex up a tight twisting stone walled track (see photo). If you come to the junction for Kolimbia you've missed it! We have had a lovely relaxing week in this villa and hope that you will too.

Once we found it (it's so straight forward we overlooked it) our villa is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. It is well equipped and reasonably spacious, even the WiFi works! Nearby Kolimbia has reasonably priced shops and restaurants ( look out for Nikos). To find the villa go past the Silk oil petrol on your left and artistic village on your right, over the lights and on your right on the main road is a twisting stone walled incline to the villas. If you come to the lights for Kolympia you've passed it! We have had a relaxing break here so hope you will have too

Great pool!

This is a picture of the pool which was lovely and was big enough and also had 6 loungers.

A fabulous villa! Everything you need to relax and enjoy the sun. Only one thing...... pop could do with being heated. It's very cold.
Will definitely come back all 5 of us LOVED it. X
