The 12 islands cruises on offer are so lovely and the sea is so good to swim in and snorkel.
The restaurants on the marina are really good, value for money and with friendly staff everywhere.
Gocek is a wonderful location to relax.
Fethiye and Ölüdeniz are a short drive away for the markets and water parks.

There are excellent places to eat or enjoy a cold beer/glass of wine in Gocek, including away from the waterfront
Some restaurants have a steep markup for quite modest wines. If in doubt, have a beer!

The pool is massive and we spent most of our days in it
The owner kept turning up unannounced and you just worried whether he was going to to turn up whilst you were sunbathing. The kettle had limescale in it. We asked for vegetarian welcome pack and received a non veg one which had salami!!

Spectacular views.
Great furnishings inside and out.
En-suite in every bedroom.
Local restaurants very good quality and good value.
The loudspeakers attached to the minarets with their call to prayer at 5am are maybe a necessary evil in Turkey.
Frequent, but mostly short, power cuts are annoying but bearable.
