Rodney Bay is known for its lively nightlife with a wide range of bars, restaurants and hotels featuring steel bands, jazz groups and live music. North of the marina, the area of Gros Islet hosts a popular street party every Friday named the 'Friday Night Jump-up', here you can experience the fantastic street party atmosphere and enjoy food and drink from one of the many stalls available. A casino can also be found at the Baywalk shopping mall south of the marina.
The Pitons are St Lucia's most iconic landmark. Standing side by side, the pitons are two volcanic spires rising out of the sea.
Pigeon Island is a national park and known to be St Lucia's key landmark. Remnants of bunkers and military forts can be found dating back to the time the island was used as a military base. The island is also popular for its museum on site and for picnics due to its scenic surroundings.
