Aside from fish, a dish not to be missed is Cabra con papas, which translates as Goat with potatoes or fries!
Another main dish that you will often see is papas arrugadas (wrinkled potatoes), also known as Canarian potatoes. Cooked in salt with their skins still on, they are simple and flavoursome when served with mojos (dipping sauces).
