“Nico was exactly what we expected and more! The pool is so much bigger than the pictures make it look! The spacious balcony is perfect for when we may want to eat breakfast in the morning under the sun or enjoy a late night drink under the stars! The interior of Nico is luxurious to say the least! Spacious, well furnished and chic.”
Villa was in an excellent location- very clean with all home comforts-would like to buy it!!
Mr Garwood, April 2014
Lovely villa, beautifully clean with a great little pool. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach gives it an ideal location. A few bars and shops nearby for all your meals out drinks and groceries. If I was being picky it was slightly frustrating that there was no wifi and the pool area did become very wet as no drainage has been built by the pool.

We enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked it for next year

A lovely villa. This was our first holiday in a villa but we would have no hesitation in using them again and have already recommended James villas to friends and family.

Villa has ample space for a family of 4 (ie 2 adults & 2 children). We were only 2 adults so had plenty of space. Pool was very good for adults, but may need careful consideration for people with small children.

Villa Nico is a small pleasant property, clean and well presented, with a small plunge pool which is fine for cooling off in, if swimming lengths isn't a priority. It is next door to a large hotel so there is some traffic noise during the day when outside. However there are two main issues, firstly the quality of the beds which are cheap soft mattresses and very uncomfortable. This has been commented on before and hasn't been improved, mattresses are not expensive and at the cost of this villa it isn't good enough. This is the main reason for a low overall score. Secondly the bedroom windows open onto the pool area of the villa next door and during our time there, we had a lot of loud parties next door until the small hours which meant we couldn't open the windows to cool the rooms at night.

Nice villa and value for money - pool not terribly well maintained when we got there but could get past it as the rest of the place very nice. Very close to local amenities and airport. Would recommend, just maybe contact your rep to sort the pool out early on.

Our second visit to Nico, and once again it didn't disappoint. New to the villa is WI FI which worked well. Also new is a great BBQ, which was well used.
We love Nico, it is close to facilities such as shops and bars, but quiet and private.
1, The pool shower is in the wrong place, and doesn't drain properly.
2, As others have mentioned, the mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing!!!
I imagine I will be visiting Nico again, its great for couples, not so good for kids, as the pool doesn't have a shallow end

This is a great villa - close to shops, bars etc and beach. I would give a higher rating but for a couple of things. The double bed has been commented on by others and I agree a foam mattress is not good and it is getting old as it tends to dip to the middle. But my main bed complaint is the bedding - huge sheets and blanket which are dangerous! If they are not tucked in they drape alk over the floor and are all to easy to trip over. The pillows are bolsters and too hard. Finally, surely the bed should be king size. When I raised an issue about the quality sheets (thin and old) with the rep he promised to talk to the management company but couldn't make any promises. Surely you are the customer and set standards, telling them what is required. I also think sheets should be changed twice a week as the towels are. Incidentally, good supply of towels. As others have already mentioned the sun shade is inadequate and does not fit the stand. Ours flew around twice in the wind (even when it was closed) and next door's blew over the wall into the road and narrowly missed pedestrians. Also the area outside the kitchen has the structure for shade - all it needs is a canvas cover! In the kitchen which is generally well fitted and supplied there is no colander or bread knife! However, overall this is a lovely villa - the hotel nearby is no problem. The maids were excellent and considerate and the taxi service was first class. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Nico is a nice enough villa in a great location, the closest supermarkets are only a three minute walk away as is the beach. The shops and restaurants of Matagorda and Los Pocillos are all easily accessible. WiFi was installed while we were there and is fast enough. It is overlooked by a large hotel but trees provide enough of a screen. The included welcome pack was much appreciated and the free care hire was with Hertz who provided great customer service when needed. We love the area so much that we booked the neighbouring villa (Grama) for later in the year on the same day we got back.

We really enjoyed the villa nico and would have given 10 all round but one of the bedside lights was broken, and wasn't replaced. the toaster didn't work and wasn't replaced until the day before we were leaving. However the reps were as helpful as they could be as a couple of them were on holiday so things were a little tight. They even arranged an earlier pick up for us so we didn't have to wait around too long which was very kind of them.
