“A good place to go to spend a couple of hours. It's well organised and reasonably priced with a selection of packages to choose from and different karts for different age groups. For anyone not wanting to take part there's a cafe with a viewing area, which serves a variety of soft drinks, smoothies and alcoholic drinks and also hot drinks and food.”
“This Chinese restaurant was extremely good. Service was quick but not rushed and the food was really good. The price was very reasonable, in fact we had to check that they had everything on. The restaurant was extremely busy whilst we were there too.”

The location of the villa in relation to the beach and shops and bars was excellent. We felt though that the outside areas of the villa were lacking in privacy. We were in full view of three floors of balconies of the next door Sol Lanzarote. We didn't use the pool because of this. There were no sunshades if you wanted to sunbathe. The actual villa was acceptable, but not the right one for us.

St Helens We have three children,
I don't know what they used to clean the pool but 3 of our party came out in a rash evertime we used it, also mid way through our stay a cleaner turned up to exchange the towels, she just waltzed in without invitation as we were eating breakfast, the last day the cleaners turned up well before we were due to vacate and more or less forced us out, there are fans in the bedrooms but they are poor quality, villa would benefit from air conditioning, the location and local amenities are very good, all in all an enjoyable holiday, if the pool issues and fans/air con were sorted would be happy to use the villa again, maybe also get someone to teach the cleaners some manners

Family (the eldest child is at school)
Near a walk way to the main commercial centre it was quiet and private. Well maintained Villa with good amenities. Some early morning building refurbishment nearby, thankfully we were just waking up by time it started

Booked villa as part of a last minute holiday so got it for a bargain price. Villa was in a lovely quiet location on outskirts of Puerto del carmen. On arrival we had a little difficulty finding it in the dark, however after a call to the number provided, we were directed easily. Car not essential as supermarket beach and various eating places nearby however was handy for exploring the island. Bikes can be hired very nearby as an alternative. The villa was spacious, only 2 of us stayed but would comfortably sleep 6. Beds were comfortable. No air con however some fans are provided. Villa is basic, but in comparison with others villas in Lanzarote, very well equipped and comfortable. Villa was spotlessly clean and maid visited half way to change towels. Pool seemed to gather leaves and dirt easily due to wind so needs cleaned daily. It was a lovely addition to cool down on a hot day. Like others have said, I'd be a little worried staying here with young children as pool is very deep and at opposite side of villa from seating area. Nice BBQ which we used several times. Pool and eating area directly beside public walkway - there is a wall but hotel overlooks villa. To be honest this really wasn't an issue as still private enough. Our suggestions for improvement would definitely be installation of air con and a better hot water system. Hot water lasted long enough for 1 person to shower then went cold! Handy to note- On the day of check out you have to vacate villa by 10am. As we had a late flight this was a bit of an issue for us. Emailed to ask about late check out but would not get as villa was booked. Therefore we hired a nearby apartment to spend the day and it was awful! If you are planning this, do not book club pocillos apartments. Would we stay at this villa again? Yes! Overall had a very relaxed week in the sun!

3rd time we have stayed in this villa in 3 years only this year was spoiled by the pneumatic drill constantly being used in Villa No.4 behind Villa Grama from Wednesday until Saturday between 8.30 - 15.00(approx.) Outdoor area scored low as it was covered in dust from the building work.

This was our fifth James Villa holiday and overall was probably the best one yet. We love staying at Matagorda and Grama is ideally located, it is just a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. There are four steps from the footpath to the villa but otherwise the whole holiday can be step free. Everything we needed was in the villa, the WiFi was fast enough and reliable and we made full use of the newly installed BBQ. I had read on another review that hot water was a bit limited but while it wasn't good enough for a deep bath there was plenty of hot water for the four of us who were staying there. The only negative about the villa is the swimming pool. It is located out of sight of the main living areas of the villa and is 1.6 metres deep with no shallow end so anyone with children would need to very vigilant. We would happily return to Grama.

Value for money. Pool although unused was on different side of villa to table and chairs making it unsuitable for family who wanted to watch small children. Excellent location of villa.

Great villa. Very clean and well equipped. Our only issue was the pool seemed to collect a lot of debris at the bottom which we couldn't remove with the net. Other than that it was great. Fantastic location a few mins from the beach and shopping centre with plenty of restaurants and bars.

The pool was supposed to be heated, but was marginally warmer than it would have been without heating. BBQ was totally unusable, which was addressed by a new one being delivered, but for some reason owner did not build it for use. The general decor was dated and a damp smell was present in master bed room.
