The main square in the harbour is a prime spot for lively family friendly entertainment. Here you will find a selection of cocktail bars, lounge bars with lots of live music.
Visit Llano's Cave, an eerie 648 metre long volcanic lava tube, millions of years old, which you can take guided walks through.
Baku Water park in Corralejo is a great fun family day out. As well as slides and wave pools, you can also play a game of crazy golf or ten-pin bowling.
Another popular feature and photographic oppurtunity of the Villaverde and Lajares areas are the well-kept traditional windmills. There is also a windmill useum located in Antigua.
There is a local agricultual museum in Villaverde where you can learn about healing aloe vera as well as other traditional crops.
The only forest on the island is found in Betancuria, where the castle of Lara is situated 450 metre above sea level. The castle is surrounded by the lush pine and the area is equipped with barbecues and picnic tables and chairs for your enjoyment. It's a great place to visit for a cooler excursion, out of the Canarian heat, with a playground, toilets, running water and car park faciliites too.

15 km inland from Caleta de Fuste, attracts around 200 exhibitors from all over the Canary Islands. Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days. Free Admission and parking. It's held at the Antigua Windmill/Cheese Museum site.
