We absolutely loved the villa and pool. It was so nice that it was so secluded, private and secure; we could let the children run around in the spacious grounds without worrying. Fabulous, clean pool, great covered area and barbecue area. We simply could not fault it.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at Son Marc and it was wonderful. Beautiful villa with a fantastic garden. The area was lovely and the locals very friendly. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. he also worked very hard keeping the pool and gardens in order. A wonderful location and so peaceful. Loved it.

The villa was perfect for us wanting a quiet week away from it all. Amazing amount of space and orange & lemon trees.

Lovely villa. This was our second visit and will not be our last. If you enjoy a rural setting surrounded by farmland in a villa that is well equipped and well maintained then Son Marc 1 fits the bill.

Everything about our holiday at Son Marc 1 was brilliant. The Villa was clean, tidy in fact immaculate. It had everything you needed! Wifi which worked outside! Air con a must! Although just a fan in the twin room which might bother some guests, but our children did not seem to mind. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, and even though we broke a wine glass, the fabulous owner replaced it with 3!! The Bathroom had a fantastic shower too! We did not use the TV once, and spent most of our holiday outside, either exploring the wonderful island - Pollensa and the seaside towns are not too far away, or we just chilled by the gorgeous pool - we loved the fact that previous guests had left toys and lilo's for the pool, so we left our beach balls for the future guests. There was plenty of shaded areas to sit under too if the heat got too much. Son Marc 1 was very secluded with large grounds protected by trees making it very private. All in all we had the most fantastic and successful holiday and are recommending to friends. Thank you James Villas, Eliza and the really lovely Villa Owners. You really did deliver what you had advertised.

The Villa was perfect and well presented. Having had numerous holidays with James Villas they all tend to be well presented, however we found Son Marc 1 had the edge for a number little extras that make a difference and to be honest, has always been a question of mine as to why it hasn't happened before. For example:- We always do a shop as you need to in a villa and some of the things you need to buy are the essentials, most of which you will never use completely and therefor can be left for the next guests. There are also things that were supplied by the owner too which was well received. These included, Washing up liquid and cleaning products, coffee filters, bbq coals, lighters, mosquito plug ins, bin bags, lemon candles of the patio area, clothes washing liquid (not that we used it), dishwasher tablets. We purchased bbq lighters and dishwasher tablets and only used a few leaving them hopefully for the benefit of the next guests which i think makes sense if these sort of items can be left. There were also, beach towels, couple of lilos and a number of small footballs etc provided for the pool. Great for the kids and not the norm with the previous villas.
English channels are always hard to get abroad due to the restrictions the good old uk put on them. However, there are two satellite systems for the villa, Main spanish Tv and German satellite with three english channels which can be found on channels 075 bbc world news, 189 and 298 CNBC news. The teenager was keen to point out he found none of them watchable!
The WIFI is excellent.
The villa is owned by Jose who came to clean the pool mid week (great guy). Martin his son, has his mobile on the front door should you need anything during your stay and is fluent in English.
The villa is situated in Sa Pobla which has very little to offer should you wish to explore. however if you need a beach then C'an Picafort is as good as most general beaches only about 8 minute drive and closer than the info in the guides suggest. 13.50 euros per day if you hire two sun beds and shade.
We would definitely recommend the villa

London Was meant to be
Excellent villa in remote location - exactly what I was looking for. Lots of garden space, good sized pool and within easy reach of shops and activities. The perfect villa!

Wonderful villa. Quite small but everything needed was there and the outside area is huge and beautifully maintained. The owner appeared midweek to tidy around garden and clean pool and he was very friendly and polite. The only small niggle was that sometimes there was a horrible smell outdoors and we are not sure if it was coming from something being spread on the surrounding fields or from a neighbouring property. We are farmers and just accept it as being part of country living but it was pretty disgusting and I can imagine some folk might be upset by it. Would certainly not put us off from booking villa again though.

The setting and surroundings suited us as we live in a rural location. The villa is set in a large plot and is very private. Although possible to walk in to Sa Pobla if you like walking ,otherwise a car is a must. Sa Pobla is not a pretty town or historic but has all the amenities. As we had a car we toured to different places in Mallorca and enjoyed the varied landscapes from the mountains to the beaches and other more interesting towns.
