You can enjoy a relaxing, sun soaked Ibizan holiday in the quiet village of San Rafael. A few local amenities are available when you need them including a handful of cafés, restaurants and a supermarket as well as some excellent craft shops. San Rafael is famed for the wonderful, locally produced ceramics, which you will see on display around the village. You can easily explore the rest of the island by car from San Rafael - it's only a 20 minute drive either way to bustling San Antonio and the island’s capital, Ibiza Town.

Paella, tapas, fresh seafood, Mediterranean grilled meats and vegetables, Alioli (garlic sauce), Flao (local cheesecake with herbs and honey). You will most likely get to try a shot of Hierbas after a meal, a traditional Eivissan spirit made of herbs, good for digestion.
San Rafael is one of Ibiza's quieter nightspots with a small, but fine selection of bars, restaurants and pizzerias for a laid back evening meal. Head to Ibiza Town - the island's capital, or lively San Antonio for a taste of Ibiza's legendary nightlife, and on the main road between the two towns are the island's famous super-clubs, which are in close proximity to the village.
Two established local pottery shops, the pottery is also sold on street markets throught the island.
Established in 1997, Can Rich Buscatell winery and wine growing estate use ecological farming techniques along with modern and traditional methods to create Ibicencan wine. The estate is located a short drive away, just outside of San Antonio.
From San Antonio bay, just a short drive down the hill, you can hop aboard one of the many ferries, boat trips and excursions that sail around the island. Make a trip to Es Vedra, Portinatx, Formentera, San Miguel and Margaritas, all of which can be booked at the marina.
Air Zone is an unusual attraction park, where you can roll around in inflatable orbs, often known as 'zorbing'.
A 20 minute drive towards Ibiza town will take you to Aguamar in Playa den Bossa, the islands family fun waterpark with over 7 sets of slides and a picnic area.
Being situated almost equal distance between both San Antonio and Ibiza town, San Rafael is the perfect spot to explore both of these great places. Being a small island means everything can be reached by bus or car quickly and easily. Don't forget to explore the these areas as well as and Santa Eulalia, and maybe buy a souvenir from the hippy market at Es Canar.
Typical to every town or village Ibiza, San Rafael is not short if a beautiful white-washed church, standing in the village centre and built around the 1800s.
