You can truly relax in this peaceful, unspoilt rural village, set within the tranquillity of beautiful, forested hills. The village has rows of traditional little houses, shops and restaurants. You can easily enjoy days on the beach from here - just four kilometres away is Port de San Miguel, with its broad sandy beach protected by the surrounding cliffs. The bay is perfect for families with its soft sand and shallow waters and you’ll also find plenty of watersports and lots of room to run around. You may also like to enjoy relaxing evenings enjoying a meal or a drink in one of the bars and restaurants set alongside the little fishing port and beach.

San Miguel is more of a traditional village. One small disco and a little entertainment can be found in nearby Puerto de San Miguel, which is also home to one of the best fish restaurants in Ibiza. For those wanting a livelier night scene, head 25 minutes to San Antonio or Ibiza Town and the string of nightclubs in between.
From Puerto de San Miguel, you can hop aboard one of the many ferries that sail around the island and make a trip to the hustle and bustle of San Antonio.
Go and see the eerie stalagmites and stalagtites of the Can Marca Caves, just along the road from Puerto de San Miguel. Before entering the caves you will enjoy stunning panoramic views of the coastline. At the centre this smugglers retreat is a 30 feet high waterfall accompanied by a music & light show.
A 30 minute drive to the other side of the island will take you to Aguamar in Playa den Bossa, the islands family fun waterpark with over 7 sets of slides and a picnic area.
Being a small island means everything can be reached by bus or car quickly and easily. Don't forget to explore the main hubs of the island; Ibiza town, San Antonio and Santa Eulalia, and maybe buy a souvinir from the hippy market at Es Canar.
Elevated and overlooking the village is the fortress church, a landmark built between the 14th and 18th centuries, with views down to the coast at Puerto de San Miguel.
