Regions to visit

Barcelona

One of the most famous Spanish cities, Barcelona is well worth a visit when you are holidaying on the Costa Brava. Despite its size, it is easy to explore on foot, and there are many walking routes to ensure you experience all that there is to see. Without a doubt, one of Barcelona's top attractions is the modernist architecture, and the works of Antoni Gaudí. Just walking around you'll come across various examples of Gaudí's work throughout the city. The most famous are the Sagrada Família, impressive both outside and in; Park Güell, a space that emulates an English garden city; and La Pedrera. Barcelona is brimming with history, culture, architecture, superb cuisine, shopping and nightlife.

Tarragona offers a fantastic and varied day out. You can spend hours strolling along its colourful streets, relax on the sandy beaches, or visit the historic Roman monuments declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Shoppers can also find all they need within walking distance in the different commercial areas, or simply by strolling along Rambla Nova, a bustling strip that runs from the busy Plaça Imperial Tàrraco, to the famous “Balcó del Mediterrani”.
