L'Ametlla de Mar

With tall pine trees, meandering streets, and no sign of high-rise buildings, this is a typical Catalan village where you can experience a very traditional way of life. Superb restaurants around the harbour serve seafood specialties straight from the boats, and many have tables spilling onto the street, providing an idyllic place to relax and watch the world go by. The shimmering sandy beach at L’Ametlla de Mar offers shallow waters, and the rocky perimeters are ideal for snorkelling. Many fiestas take place in this resort during the summer months, and there are many interesting and historical places to visit around the area. Our villas are located within Les Tres Calas; a quiet development of pretty whitewashed villas within a short drive of the resort centre, and with an easy connection to the motorway linking it to all of the attractions of the Costa Dorada.

Tarragona

Tarragona offers a fantastic and varied day out. You can spend hours strolling along its colourful streets, relax on the sandy beaches, or visit the historic Roman monuments declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Shoppers can also find all they need within walking distance in the different commercial areas, or simply by strolling along Rambla Nova, a bustling strip that runs from the busy Plaça Imperial Tàrraco, to the famous “Balcó del Mediterrani”. Along the length of Rambla Nova and on the adjacent streets there is a wide range of shops from antiques to high-end designers.

Despite its size, it is easy to explore on foot, and there are many walking routes to ensure you experience all that there is to see.
