Surrounded by sweet-smelling pine trees, Las Chapas is a pretty and prestigious area, located only a 10 minute drive into the centre of Marbella. Crossing over the main road you will find Marbesa and its beautiful beach and some great restaurants, or less than 5 minutes down the road, you can marvel at the yachts at the wonderful Cabopino Port, which hosts a great selection of further eateries.

Enjoy nights out spent in the popular nearby resort of Marbella here you can find many bars, restaurants, nightclubs and beach clubs. For a quieter night out there is also Marbesa close by for some charming restaurants and chill out bars.
Funny Beach Marbella
Far more than a go-karting venue, Funny Beach is the ideal venue for lovers of speed, adrenaline and sheer fun. As well as go-karting both for adults and kids, there are trampolines, bumper boats and electric vehicles, not to mention an array of water sports and a beach club in the summer months. It’s located right on the beach between Marbella and Elviria.
Located just 500 metres from the beach at nearby Elviria, this superb adventure park is just the ticket for anyone up for a challenge. You’ll find six amazing forest adventure circuits, complete with zipwires, rope ladders and climbing walls at various levels to suit all ages from 4 upwards and all levels of fitness. Safety harnesses are provided, along with plenty of advice and encouragement from the park staff and your entrance ticket offers three hours on the circuits of your choice.
Not your typical water park, Aqua Arena is in fact a huge inflatable assault course moored in the sea just outside Marbella at Golden Beach, Elviria, during the summer months. Fabulous, supervised fun for children and adults alike, the course offers a chance to challenge friends and family to leap, bounce, slide and splash your way to the finish. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult and sessions last an hour.
At the heart of Marbella’s Old Town is the delightful Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Tree Square), its charming alfresco restaurants shaded by leafy orange trees. The surrounding buildings are full of character, many dating from the 15th and 16th centuries and with a blend of Arabic, Gothic and Renaissance architecture. From here you can wander down numerous cobbled streets to discover dozens of individual boutiques, taps bars and cafés.
Avenida del Mar
This broad pedestrianised area between the Marbella old town and the beach is laid with attractive yellow marble and devoted to ten magnificent bronze sculptures by Salvador Dalí, including Don Quixote, Greek legend Perseus and the Roman god Mercury. There are also two sculptures by Eduardo Soriano along with some beautiful fountains and benches where you can sit awhile and admire the art.
This lovely coastal promenade, lined with palm trees, stretches all the way to Puerto Banus, with some 2 kms of the pathway paved with marble. There are bars, boutiques and restaurants offering all manner of cuisines along one side while walkers, cyclists, joggers and skate-boarders get to savour the wonderful sea views, especially at sunset, on the other. You’ll find free exercise areas, children’s trampolines and playgrounds and often street musicians and sand sculptors along the way.
Puerto Deportivo, Marbella
Located on Marbella’s paseo maritimo (promenade), Puerto Deportivo is a delightful place to sit and watch the nautical comings and goings of sleek yachts and motorboats moored at the marina. It’s packed with restaurants, bars, cafés and even a children’s playground, so whether you’re visiting with a young family or on a night out with friends, you’ll find plenty of choice. You can also catch the catamaran ferry to and from Puerto Banus Marina from here, offering a great view of the resorts from the water.
Ocean Club Marbella
At the very heart of the Costa del Sol’s sizzling party scene, Ocean Club Marbella is the place to see and be seen. With the ultimate in contemporary all-white sun beds and a magnificent salt water infinity pool taking centre stage, the club oozes luxury and beachside chic. Famed for its mouthwatering cocktails and champagne spray parties, there’s also a highly regarded restaurant serving a range of exquisite seafood and pan-European delicacies, a VIP zone, massage area, designer boutique and beauty salon. The club occupies a 9,000 square metre spot just next to the marina in the centre of Puerto Banus.
Nikki Beach Marbella
One of the Costa del Sol’s coolest beach clubs and host to numerous party events throughout the summer season, Nikki Beach is located adjacent to the finest sandy beach, fringed with elegant palm trees, a few minutes’ east of Marbella. Boasting a large swimming pool, dozens of chic day beds and sun loungers, a trendy octagon-shaped bar and a beautiful restaurant, it’s a fun place to hang out for the day and into the evening.
