Opening Hours

Open all year round, 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

Los Flamingos Golf includes 18 holes over greens that are generous in size and playable by both high and low handicapped players. It was designed by the renowned architect Antonio Garcia Garrido and provides breath taking views of the Mediterranean Sea, Africa and Gibraltar. The course itself varies in size with the initial narrow fairways demanding accuracy and precision then opening up to larger areas in the second part. The Arroyo de Taraje stream passes through the course and ends in a lake which is a natural border to the course. With each of the holes being technically demanding and requiring players to be on top form it’s no wonder Flamingos Golf has been the choice course to host prestigious tournaments such as the European Seniors Championship in 2002, 2003, 2004 and the 2010 Spanish Women’s Open.

Accommodation spacious and good value for money.
Cleaning generally good, couple of areas could have been better - hairs around the bath and cigarette ends on patio.
Patio areas a little shabby.
Hot tub in first villa did not heat up, reported it and maintenance came to look, not able to fix, we were moved to another property. Would be good if all items were checked by maintenance before guests arrive to save having to move.
Overall nice property.

Villas were a getting a little shabby. Had to ask for the shower head to be replaced, the toilet seat was broken, we had problems with one of the lights being faulty and the hot tub was a cold tub! On site restaurant service was slow. Still a nice complex, the pools were great and we had a lovely time, but it felt like the complex was in need of a bit of tlc

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the villa, it was very dirty, floors and bathroom not clean. Kitchen side filthy. Had infestation of ants on two occasions. Cleaner came twice and was absolutely useless, showed her twice what needed cleaning which she didn't do with out us showing her again . We complained to management who apologised and gave us a free meal. But that still didn't make up for the fact I wasted two days of my holiday cleaning . The location was great and most of the resort was fine. Ladder into pool broken, restaurant was nice although bbq was very expensive, rest of meals lovely. Area nice and close to shops.

Wokingham Family only the youngest
The 3 pools let it down
Not enough sun beds, what there was were sat empty with just a towel using it
Best time to get a bed 6.30 pm
Pool many a evening you could find a used plaster in or around the sides
If you could swim (lack of space due to inflatables) you would find many times you would be covered in someone's long hair
Used the pool but didn't enjoy it

We first visited this complex in 2014 and it really had the wow factor. However, this time, there were a few things wrong with the villa. Kitchen equipment was broken as was the floor tiles on the roof terrace. Also a broken umbrella. The roof pool was not full to capacity so the jets just sprayed the top of the water instead of creating waves underneath. We did have problems with the air con which was fixed on our 2nd day. We did tell reception twice about a broken safe and lack of pillows, but this did not get sorted.

Falkirk Family (the eldest child is at school)
We enjoyed our holiday here and found the staff friendly and helpful. The location is up some steep hills around a couple of km's from the local supermarkets and restaurants which face onto the local motorway. Thankfully we had a car, partly to ferry my son to a football training camp and to get around as this place is sort of in no mans land if you like to walk to restaurants at night. The accommodation internally was clean functional with a good kitchen, utility room & living room with balcony area (table & chairs) on the ground floor. The first floor had three bedrooms (master had a balcony) each one had its own en-suite. Our bath/ shower was rendered useless on the first day as the shower head was broken. The staff fixed this quickly (within an hour, so no complaints in relation to reaction time) but failed to grasp that a hexagon shaped shower fitting won't fit into a round shaped wall holder so kept falling out as soon as you turned water on. On the top of the building was a roof terrace with four sun beds, chairs, table, fridge and jacuzzi. This floor needed a proper refurb with the jacuzzi and walls having flaking paint patches etc.
Of the three communal pools only two were open resulting a lack of available space if wanted to lie there. The on site supermarket seemed to have replaced by some vending machines and the pool bar was basically a garden shed. We ate in the on site restaurant twice, once for lunch and once for dinner and found it to be just ok, passable but nothing special. It did however do take away pizzas which were very good.
The small gym was a welcome addition and pretty popular but the equipment wasn't in great condition with only one of the two running machines working ( one looked like it had been broken for donkeys with no intention for it to be fixed). There was also two tennis courts, two paddle tennis courts and carpet football pitch the size of a small back garden. The outside areas well pretty well kept.
Overall this place was ok with the location and general feel of it being slowly run down being its key limiters. If you're happy with driving everywhere (kind of like Florida) then this won't be an issue for you. The general need for the place to be upgraded probably means it's hanging onto 4 stars by the skin of it's teeth and the functionality of the townhouse amenities. Oh, and don't be expecting any one during your two week stay to change the bedding or towels, you'll be washing and drying those yourself.

Generally very good but some of the sun loungers were broken, there was no oven proof dishes or baking trays and no music station or way to play music.
It is located pretty far up a hill from local services with either a very tiring walk or a car needed.

Travelled with another family and occupied the penthouse suites on opposite sides of the landing. This really worked for us as it was very private when we wanted it to be and very open, friendly and safe when the two families were together. Villa more than adequate for our needs - views overs the golf course beautiful - not too busy on site as we went early April. Staff in attendance very very helpful and friendly. Facilities suited both adults and the varying ages of our children. Had a really lovely week.
