Oliva is a delightful town in the north of Costa Blanca, about ten kilometres from Gandia. Dappled with fragrant orange groves, Oliva is largely unspoilt by mass tourism and retains lots of Spanish charm. The main attraction is arguably its wide sandy beach which stretches for miles and is home to lots of natural sand dunes and exciting watersports. As a result of it size, the beaches rarely feel crowded, and it’s easy to find a perfect quiet spot. Golfers will be in their element at Oliva Nova golf course just six kilometres south of the city along the coast, and the heart of the town is ideal for relaxed evening strolls, taking in the traditional Spanish way of life.
