Vineyards

The nearby Jalon Valley is a truly spectacular region where you will discover a vast and verdant landscape of vineyards, where some of Spain’s finest vintages are produced.

Cruises

Many boat cruises are available from the nearby towns, particularly Altea (just eight kilometres away), Calpe and the harbour town of Javea, which provide a chance to enjoy Costa Blanca’s stunning coastline from a different perspective. If you fancy a trip that takes you further afield, a ferry from Denia can whisk you over to Ibiza for an impromptu day trip.

Natural areas of beauty

The stunning coastline of Costa Blanca is the region’s principle attraction, inspiring its name with mile upon mile of fine white sand, with many beaches awarded prestigious Blue Flag status. Inland the landscape is no less impressive, with beautiful valleys and vineyards, backed in the distance by the mountains of the Montgo National Park. Perhaps some of the most renowned beauty spots to explore from our villas in Costa Blanca include the hilltop village of Guadalest steeped in history, the verdant vineyards of the beautiful Jalon Valley and the glorious coastline around Calpe, marked the Peñón de Ifach rock - a fantastic landmark that stands over 300 metres tall and can be seen for miles around.

Attraction parks

Located about 10 minutes drive away, the lively resort of Benidorm offers three excellent attraction parks for you to enjoy. The first of these is Terra Mítica, which is themed around ancient Mediterranean civilizations. There are roller coasters and other adrenaline-inducing rides to enjoy, as well as spectacular shows telling historical battles and age-old legends. Mundomar Animal Park is another great attraction, with a whole host of animal shows to enjoy, providing a fun filled day for all the family. Finally, there is Terra Natura where you can see a huge variety of wildlife and plenty of entertainment and adventure activities.

Water Parks

Also located in Benidorm, Aqualandia is well worth a visit for a fun-filled day out! Known as the biggest and best-known water park in the area, Aqualandia offers something for all ages including Adventureland for younger children, a fantastic wave pool, and the highest and steepest water chutes in Europe!

The old town

The old town of the charming village of Altea has quaint cobbled streets and lovely eateries, perfect for an afternoon ramble and a bite to eat.

Other Places of interest

Guadalest

The village of Guadalest is well worth a visit on your villa holiday, perching at the pinnacle of this mountain landscape, it commands impressive views of the picturesque valley and reservoir below. Despite its small size, this historic gem is quintessentially Spanish and brimming with remnants from the Moorish occupation of Spain, including the 12th century Castle of San José accessed through a natural tunnel in the rock, as well as the Castle of La Alcozaina. There are also several museums and other fascinating antiquities, making for an absorbing day out.

Algar Waterfalls (Fuentes del Algar), Callosa

This beauty spot is a must when staying in Costa Blanca, and ideal to twin with a visit to Guadalest for a wonderful day out. The natural water falls of Algar are carefully preserved to maintain their original environment. You can swim and jump into many of the natural rock pools along the path of the falls, for a really refreshing dip. Then if you follow the path to the top (can only be done on foot) there is a shop and a Mediterranean spice garden.
