Within a 15 minute drive of Foz do Arelho, the charming medieval town of Obidos is well worth a visit during your stay. With its historic centre; a labyrinth of interesting cobbled streets, lined with whitewashed houses boosted with splashes of yellow and blue paint. It really is a lovely place to spend an afternoon or evening exploring, with a whole host of restaurants, bars and shops, as well as markets during the summer and a impressive hilltop castle.
