The historic town of Ponte de Lima has many relaxed cafes, excellent restaurants and a few laid back bars gracing its quaint streets and interesting squares, ideal for spending evenings sampling local dishes and wine.

Situated 35 minutes from Paredes de Coura is the small but pretty riverside village of Vila Nova de Cerveira, home to a bustling Saturday market, a good range of amenities and a small river beach. Located on the River Minho, that separates this area of Portugal from Spain, a bridge allows you to easily reach Spain, and experience two countries in one holiday.

Known as the oldest town in Portugal, the picturesque riverside town of Ponte de Lima sits within a 35 minute drive of Paredes de Coura, attracting many with its charm, and is well worth a visit during your stay.
