Why it's iNDIVIDUAL...

“Marrocos, as its name suggests, is decorated with an opulent Moroccan theme and is simply beautiful! Much of the furniture was imported direct from Morocco, adding a burst of colour to the villa with bold throws, genuine woven rugs, sumptuous pouffes and beautiful bright soft furnishings.”

The villa and all the furnishings were immaculate and clean.
There were two things that were a major disappointment to us.
Firstly, there were no basic cleaning aids i.e. anti-bac spray for the work tops, or any cleaning aids for the bathrooms, nor were any essentials such as kitchen roll/foil, bin bags, condiments- salt/pepper, dishwasher tablets, hand wash in the bathrooms, etc. which have always been provided wether we have rented in the U.K. or abroad. We were provided with one toilet roll per bathroom for the week. Considering we were 4 females spanning 4 generations, plus one baby of 16 months, this was never going to be enough! When the owners came to clean again on the Tuesday (we arrived Saturday) the baby was sleeping as he had been poorly, no clean towels were left for the en-suite bathroom, I presume this was because the other towels could not be retrieved.
Secondly, the pool!!!! Inviting as it looked, it should carry a health warning. To say that it was cold is an understatement , it was as if it was constantly fed by ice and it did not heat up at all throughout the day, even though the air temperature was constantly mid 30's .
I have swum in the Arctic Ocean off the coast of Greenland, and it was warmer than this pool.

Excellent villa although difficult to find as we arrived on an evening flight. Good location and very spacious villa - much bigger than the photos show. Ideal location as close to enough places but nice and peaceful to come back to of an evening .

Needed to be more outdoor lighting at the back and around the pool/BBQ area. Pool was on the cold side. Need to explain before booking that the internet access is limited with no streaming. My husband was working whilst we were away and it would have been good to know this in advance. The advert just said free wifi

Marrocos is a beautiful and very clean villa and is the perfect location for a lovely family holiday and I have no issues recommending it for future rental.

There are a couple of things potential renters should note - the pool is not heated (this is stated) but even on the hottest days (35c +) the water is freezing and at 150cms at the deepest point one might have expected it to warm up.

The decor and furnishings are an acquired taste and it is very Moroccan (I guess hence the name). There are plenty of seats for the six people staying but (being ultra picky) the TV is small and the living room is not necessarily the comfiest for a nights TV viewing. Having said the the family spent most of the evening on their iPads and I read in the bedroom.

The shower and drains need looking at. The shower itself is very slow to clear and overflows - I bought some drain cleaner but this failed to do the trick. The bathrooms get a strong toilet smell at certain times of the day and this is further amplified outside when the wind changes and you get a rather fragrant smell coming from the property. It's not a big thing and I am probably over sensitive.

The other consideration is the drive up to the villa; part tarmac and part unmade road which makes for an interesting up and down experience.

Ultimately it really is a lovely place with just a few nit picking points.

Fantastic villa. Very clean and modern inside. Needs more shade around the pool area and the air conditioning was temperamental upstairs, but we would like to book again for the same villa as was in a superb location and one of the best villas we've stayed in. Thankyou.

A beautiful, modern spotlessly clean villa situated in a lovely area between Guia and Vale de Parra. Very peaceful with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. Fully equipped with everything one could need for a most relaxing or more energetic holiday. The owners were most welcoming, and a tiny problem with the barbecue was sorted out almost immediately, with no fuss. Would definitely visit this villa again as it ranks amongst the best of the James Villas properties we have visited.

We arrived in the dark, and the drive up the track is a little daunting, glad I had done most of it with streetview first.
Wow, what a first impression though, as we stepped into the hallway, we were greeted by an amazing staircase and glorious arch into the lounge area.
The photos on the website barely do it justice.
Villa Marrocos is ideal for a family with older children, with plenty of space, a wifi ( mifi ) connection, outdoor table tennis and a pool ( too cold in April though ).
Sitting in the sunshine drinking coffee on the first morning was a really great feeling.
Lack of hotwater was the only issue we had, I think it is solar heated, but there didn't appear to be a boost switch.
