Rabbit and meat stew is very popular amongst the Maltese and Gozitans, as well as delicious Italian-inspred pizza. Sample the local produce including fresh berries, olives and wine from the vineyards.
Although Gozo is a relaxed island, a few clubs can be found in the capital. The Gozitan way of life is traditionally slow-paced and so many enjoy the evening at a good local restaurant with a bottle of wine. there are many restaurants and bars to choose from in the city centre, suitable for all tastes. As a cultural hub, theatre and recitals are very popular in the area, and you can often find a jazz concert or play going on in one of the theatres or churches.

This every year event is held around the spring time, featuring different styles and genres of music bringing in the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and an international cast, as well as different day events such as a lunchtime Wine & Music event and also a Sunday Lunch time recital.
This event is a great time to see the region of Gozo come together and celebrate the patron saints. Indulge the lights, colours and smells whilst getting a real taste of how the locals live with street stalls and markets. On to ending the night with a bang whilst watching fireworks light up the villages and towns of Gozo.

This festival spans five weeks of uninterrupted musical activity with over 33 concerts by local and foreign musicians including the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. The cities developed musical culture has inspired the creation of two magnificent theatres attracting world renowned artistes to Gozo's shores.

A weekend of music, folk dance and traditional food organised by the Qala local council and Qala Menhir Folk Group.
