Nektaria occupies a wonderful peninsula location boasting fabulous views of the sea as well as the nearby islands of Skiathos and Evia, while amazing sunsets can be enjoyed from both the balcony and pool terrace. Set in a private position, amongst olive groves and lush green countryside, Nektaria provides the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing and secluded holiday. A large covered terrace with built in barbecue area sit alongside the lounge and kitchen area, making this the perfect spot for lazy lunches in the comfort of your own villa. Please be aware that the property staircase is of open tread and due to design contains low bannister, therefore some customers may feel it is not suitable for their party.
If you want peace and quiet then this is the place. The only sounds you get are meows, the odd motorbike in the distance, a donkey with attitude and the Goat Show about 5pm.
The best beaches are Kastani and Milia. Recommend Agnanti in Glossa for a good meal. Might need to book if you want the balcony.
If you go to Agnondas for tea go to the place with blue chairs and a big maple. Next door is shocking. Limninari is a miss. Not really built. Feed the cats. They have had a hard winter and need beefing up. They are a bit shy and have had to fight for food over the winter so be prepared for some kick up!!
No real problem with wasps, we had horse flies for the first few days and those really hurt. Gone now though.
We have already booked to come back so we expect to see fat cats, grapes and olives.

We loved this villa! It was clean, spacious and had breath-taking views. It's location was great as all beaches and towns were within close driving distance. The owner was most helpful and we have no hesitation in recommending this villa to others. James Villa representative was most helpful going out of her way to ensure we had a stress free, safe and thoroughly organised holiday, she really did the company proud !

We had an amazing time. It far exceeded all our expectations. The pool is amazing and we enjoyed it everyday. It was a really enjoyable holiday for us and we hope to return some day. Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful holiday home and the Rep for making our stay as smooth as possible.

Absolutely wonderful villa, island everything! We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here and hope to return as Skopelos has lots to offer.
Mr Reed, July 2013
A good quality Villa in an ideal location for a get away holiday, isolated but not remote. Very helpful owner who quickly resolved any problems. We appreciated the girls coming in to clean and change the bedlinen and towels twice a week.

Beautiful villa and location, we have had a lovely holiday
Mr Habergham, September 2012
This Villa is excellent, it is comfortable, luxurious, very well maintained and very very clean.
Mrs Brigg, August 2012
Beautiful island . It was very quiet and peaceful. A perfect area for our holiday. The villa location meant that we could be completely private but the local beach was easily reached as were the busier areas. We did not feel worried about being two girls on our own.
Mrs Brigg, August 2012
The villa was beautiful. Infact, it looked better than the photos on the website. The pool was immaculate and was cleaned during our stay. The outdoor areas were lovely and enabled us to eat out and live in different places during the day and evening depending on the heat and sun. The viula was serviced during the week although it was amazingly clean in the first place. Fab location. We met the owner and he was really friendly and unassuming. He came to clean the pool and was very thorough. There were couple of issues that he sorted straight away. Very impressive.
Mr Bowyer, July 2012
We have spent a month at the Villa Nektaria on Skopelos and for peace and privacy, it was outstanding. The villa contained everything we required and it was kept extremely clean. Clean towels and sheets provided twice a week, was very good. It is conveniently located for exploring all aspects of this beautiful island.
Mr Gray, July 2012

Villa was basic but that's what we were expecting from the description. It was only a base so it met our needs. The location is absolutely stunning with fantastic views and sunsets, we really loved being there. It's really well positioned for peace and quiet but close to the big towns for easy access. The wi-if was better than we were expecting and there was a nice selection of books which is always a bonus!
The owners seemed very nice and were keen to ensure we had a good time, which was appreciated.
The pool and outside were lovely but the entire place was absolutely over run with wasps (in fairness it was the height of August) and was just impossible to use, even with burning coffee going full blast. Being anaphylaxic to Bee venom I had been worried about the beehive in the garden but ended up being stung really badly when a wasp flew up the floaty dress I was wearing. However, this was a problem we found across the island.

The villa is typically Greek, lovely, charming and rustic. It is private but not remote and an excellent base from which to explore the island. The owners are very helpful and friendly. You have to see the sunsets, they are amazing!

Fabulous villa and we felt very much at home. Views from the pool were simply stunning.

The villa facilities compared to other comparably priced Greek villas we have stayed in are basic. They were adequate for our needs but tired and rather shoddy. In particular kitchen work surfaces and bathrooms need updating and a good deep clean. The pool was good.
Health and safety notices were all other the place, detracting from an otherwise friendly homely atmosphere. There were several inconsistent notices about feeding the local cats, which were left in prominent position if the cleaner believed these were not being followed - again detracting from a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Blighted by stray cats, an army of ants in the upstairs bathroom and a fridge that simply refused to chill anything to a reasonable level. Made worse by an owner reluctant to deal satisfactorily with any of these issues. The Villa is secluded and has wonderful views but is in need of an update particularly in the bathroom where the shower fixings are well past their sell by date. It has low head height on a couple of doors and the stairs require gymnastic like skills to navigate particularly if you are tall. Kitchen chairs are appallingly uncomfortable. TV and satellite system caters for most languages apart from English. WiFi has limited range so no browsing by the pool whilst drinking a warm beer! Not the best Villa in Skopelos.

The villa's rural aspect and views are what drew us back for our second stay at Nektaria. The company of two villa cats, the sound of goats grazing in the valley and the odd cockerel added to the ambiance. Simply Greek.
