Most of all love the people, never have I been made to feel more welcome than on the Island. We love with this island, we visited a lot of beaches, towns and monuments but still feel we have a lot more to see so we will be going back. I was ill on holiday so had to visit the doctors, the service I received was second to none. very impressed.
Not knowing in advance about the island and how it closes down in October meant that at times it was a bit deserted, being slightly out of town added to this.

Market Harborough Couple
Excellent food choices.
Lovely places to exploe (Old Town and Lindos particularly).
Some excellent beaches.
We found it rather expensive compared to the UK. Particularly eating and drinking out.
The roads are awash with inconsiderate cretins on scooters and quad bikes.
A sting from an oriental hornet is painful and is to be avoided at all costs!

Very private secluded villa, Western coast of Rhodes more windy, which during July and August would be a godsend.
It wasn’t a major problem for us as the distance was far enough away as to be only a background noise but aircraft flying from airport however only slight problem.

Stirling Family (the eldest child is at school)
Lindos, old Rhodes town and the mojito beach bar.
If you have any influence with the authorities in Rhodes you need to urge them to clean up some of their beaches. the beach at Lahania was covered in a lot of rubbish which detracted from the beauty, it was the same with a lot of the other public beaches.

Aldbourne, Wilts Couple
The owner was friendly and met us on arrival and said he was on call 24/7 for any problems.
We felt the villa was basic. Lack of housekeeping. Main road runs right behind the villa, so although not a busy road, there was still traffic noise all day.
