- Villa Eleni is a lovely villa with wonderful views. The location was great for us as Kalami is very relaxed and pretty quiet.
Decor is dated but comfortable and in good condition. The kitchen was well equipped.
The outside space was excellent. Perfect viewing for sunrise. The sun was off the pool and balconies by 5 but it was so hot that this wasn't a problem and the beach is so close to catch the evening sun.
The main villa sleeps 4 and the studio sleeps 2, they need to be locked separately at night so bigger families need to split overnight. Our 3 teens are old enough that it wasn't an issue. There is a separate apartment on the top that's inaccessible to the rental but nobody was there so I guess the rental is detached as advertised.
The owners were very nice and came twice during the week to clean. The man also came one evening to tend the plants.
There is no shower in the studio but there is a bath with a shower attachment that has good pressure. We all used the main villa shower which was no problem.
The steep path down to Kalami is handy and only takes 10 mins but is quite tricky in parts so might not suit young children or those with even mildly restricted ability.
Beaches are only 5 mins drive away and there's a great Taverna next door!
I would recommend Villa Eleni to anyone who loves views, loves a quieter relaxed holiday and who doesn't need nightlife on the doorstep. Everything you might want to do is easily accessible by car.
