All around the village are the unmistakeably Mediterranean forests of pine and cork, interspersed with fertile vineyards and bisected by rivers. Just to the south lies the warm Mediterranean Sea, with the famous resorts of St Tropez and Fréjus close at hand.
A tour around the Mont Ventoux gives you a different perspective of Provence, from the lavender country round Sault to the west, to the wine country and Roman treasures of Vaison la Romaine in the East, and the beautiful and little-known villages scattered in between.
L'Esterel, les Maures or la Plaine de l'Argens, 3 other beautiful areas between forests and mountains.
