This picturesque ancient town is set around the ruins of a medieval château, which enjoys spectacular views over the surrounding countryside and towards neighbouring Italy. The narrow cobbled streets are the perfect place to soak up the Provençal way of life. The town centre is a popular meeting place for locals, and you will also see many artists and craftsmen selling handmade gifts made from olive wood, stained glass and other materials. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there are plenty of opportunities to get out and explore it on foot. For a day trip, why not visit the historic town of Grasse – famous for its perfume – just six kilometres away by car.

Grasse, a town eight miles from Cannes, is the centre of the perfume industry.
Perfume manufacture developed in the 18th century from the former tanning industry which specialised in making perfumed gloves. Two key names today are Molinard and Fragonard where visitors can view the production and even make their own personalised perfume.
Cabris is known for its numerous churches and chapels. Every summer, the Ste Marguerite chapel welcomes national and international pieces of art.
