While you could easily fill your Florida holiday with days at the theme parks, Florida offers so much more to see and do if you are keen to explore further. If you feel like an experience that's out of this world, the Kennedy Space Centre is a Florida highlight. Famous for hosting the most important space shuttle launches in American history - this 140,000 acre site offers bus tours around the complex, as well as various exhibitions and displays in the Visitor Centre.

October offers a fantastic alternative time to visit if the heat of summer isn’t your style. The average daytime temperature is a surprisingly warm 29 °C and the evenings a pleasant 18 °C, so it’s still no problem to make the most of your private pool.

Even January and February, the coldest months Florida experiences, are warm enough to get out and explore what the state has to offer. One thing is for sure, the fun of Florida and magic of Orlando are year-round!
