Spectacular sunshine in the hottest months of July and August draw visits each year to Florida. At this time the theme parks fill up with excited guests, and attractions are at their busiest. The average daytime temperature is a surprisingly warm 29 °C and the evenings a pleasant 18 °C, so it’s still no problem to make the most of your private pool.

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is located in Orlando's historic Winter Park, and contains the world's largest collection of Tiffany glass - housed in a $5m Tiffany Wing. The museum also houses other art and architectural objects from his Long Island estate too.

For the over 21s, the live music bars and nightclubs mean you can party into the early hours.
