This modern, tastefully furnished villa enjoys lovely views of the surrounding countryside from the first floor balconies and spacious pool terrace. Highly recommended, Vatania is a bright and airy villa which features a modern kitchen and air conditioning in all the bedrooms. The pretty cove of Coralia with its sheltered bay and popular taverna overlooking the sea is just a short drive away.
This was our first stay in the Coral Bay area. We liked the fact that the villa was not directly next to other villas but was not too isolated either. It was close enough to Coral Bay for shopping etc.

We have stayed in this villa before so we were well pleased with this area.

We have stayed at this villa 3 times now and enjoyed it. But unfortunately they have got new beds. The bed in the master bedroom was too low for us and very creaky. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds and one of these beds is also very creaky . That was the only problem we had

The beds are hard and could do with being replaced. The swimming pool was cold. We used vatania last year in July and the pool was lovely but this year we went in October and it was too cold for use. This could be heated via a solar panel. It is in a lovely peaceful area although there is shooting in the farmland nearby

Some good points with this villa (we have used James Villas for a number of years). It is in a good location, quiet, but still relatively close to town but would suggest you need a car there. The layout is good, the outside area is spacious and it is reasonably well equipped apart from a lack of saucepans. The bathrooms are a bit "tired" and the toilet seats definitely need replacing. The biggest problem is the bed in the main bedroom. It is virtually on the floor (far too low for most people) and clearly has seen better days. Some people will struggle to get in and out of it. I did not get one decent nights sleep in it and felt it in my back. This bed definitely need replacing as it is no longer fit for purpose. It would put us of returning. Generally the villa needs a bit of money spending on it and some TLC. Not the cleanest villa we have stayed in and the pool was not cleaned at all during our stay. Some body came to look at the pool on the day we were leaving but spent no longer than 10 minutes at the property and not sure if much or any pool cleaning took place.

We had a lovely time at the villa and it is in a perfect location. The air condition in two of the bedrooms did not work properly, the back bedroom had water coming down the wall when it had been on for a while and the en-suite bedroom kuldip not work at all but we did not mention it to later in the week as it did not worry us too much. The main issue was the beds inour room at the front, they creak like mad even with a slight movement. Overall we had a lovely week and would happily go back to Vatania.

Northamptonshire Family (the eldest child is at school)
The villa's interior was clean & tidy, although the décor & furnishings are rather dated. The swimming pool was tired and dirty. There was a line of dirt around the pool's edge which really just need to be scoured away. It made all of our pool floats dirty. There maybe a problem with the pump? The metal steps leading into the pool are rusty and rather wobbly, not enjoyable getting in and out. The sunbeds are old and need replacing. There were 2 parasols, one of which was completely broken and the other was meant to be used at a table and so therefore would not stay up if there was a slight breeze. Considering this is a villa for up to 6 people, there really should be at least 3 working umbrellas. The temperature in August is so high and struggling to find some shade was impossible. The pool wasn't cleaned during our week stay, they arrived just as we were leaving on our last day. The standard of cleaning we witnessed by the pool maintenance staff was extremely poor.
The bedrooms were all clean and tidy as were the bathrooms. The kitchen again is very dated although it was clean. However we were disappointed that some kitchen essentials were not provided as we had to buy tea towels, washing up brush, bin bags etc along with numerous other things that you would need for a weeks self catering. The fridge needs replacing. Drinks were never chilled even after several days in the fridge. The saucepans and baking trays were very old and no amount of cleaning is going to improve them. The oven and hob worked fine, didn't use the dishwasher or microwave.
Overall to sum up, this could be a really lovely property if someone were to spend a little money bringing it up to date . The pool which should be the star of the show was a real let down. Unfortunately therefore, I would not recommend this villa.

Lovely secluded villa - not overlooked at all. Great pool size and plenty of areas to either lie in the sun or seek somewhere a bit more shaded. Air con fab in the bedrooms, but none in the downstairs living space - you could open all 3 sets of patio doors to try and get a bit of breeze through, but you had to be wary of bugs and ants. The bed in the main bedroom was very low and sounded as if it was going to fall apart every time you moved.

Just what we wanted, close to the older style Cyprus. Nice quiet location yet not too far from local amenities.

An excellent villa well looked after in a secluded location but within a good walking distance of Pubs shops and bus services. Beds could need either replacement or a mattress topper. Main bed very low. Over all a great holiday was had.

A fabulous location and the outdoor area is one of the best we have stayed in. I think this is an older villa and is starting to date somewhat. The bathrooms are looking a little tired and the dishwasher was a counter top 4 place settings type. It would not hold a saucepan. It's good it has an alarm. The wifi was excellent. The owners are a lovely family. We had a fabulous holiday in their beautiful villa.
