We are pleased to offer this fabulous stone villa in the peaceful countryside of Argaka. Carefully constructed, the owners have created a beautiful villa which offers the perfect retreat for discerning clients. Internally, the property is well appointed throughout, while panoramic views of the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from the pool terrace.
The villa was very much to our liking with regards to its location, situated in orange and lemon groves and surrounded by hills. There was no light pollution at night and the silence was deafening, which suited us and the views from the balconies were stunning. Look forward to either booking this villa again or it's sister Anna Villa.

Went for a week away just to relax and this certainly helped us to do that. Perfect villa, perfect pool and perfectly quiet with great views. Couldn't ask for anything more - thank you! We will certainly be going back.

Other than the dishwasher not working properly the villa was smashing. We shayed in the same villa 5 years ago and it's much more secluded not the gardens are mature.
A little later in the year, when we hope for a better choice of flights we will DEFINITELY be going back to this villa at the same time next year.

The photos on the website probably did not do the property justice - it was beautiful and really well maintained.

Absolutely lovely week stay at villa sweet memories. The villa has great views and is very secluded but within a small drive of shops and restaurants. The pool is very nice and large enough to have a good swim about in. All in all a good villa to visit and I would say good value for the money.

The villa was beautiful but a bit hard to find after reaching the Kiosk on the directions provided. We had to stop at a villa on the way to ask for directions and luckily enough the owner was English who helped us find the villa. If we would have arrived in the hours of darkness we would never have found it

Villa is in a fantastic secluded location with amazing views of the surrounding countryside with horses in a field next to the villa with some goats a little further down & loved watching the Geckos running everywhere !!
Inside villa is in good condition although cleaning standards from the owners needs attention with dust on floors and under beds and plenty of bird droppings everywhere.
Great views from the balconies just a shame that more furniture isn't supplied to allow guests to sit, relax and enjoy.
Dishwasher doesn't heat so be prepared for greasy dishes !!
Would definitely recommend to stay - especially if the owners brushed up their act and paid more attention to detail.

Overall, we were very happy with the villa. The views are fantastic! Only a couple of gripes: a) The oven was quite dirty and there were no cleaning products supplied, apart from washing up liquid - but no cloths. I would have liked to be able to clean the kitchen daily and, particularly, before we left; b) Other villas we have stayed in have supplied basics such as extra toilet paper, washing powder and dishwasher tablets. These are not the sort of items you would expect to have to buy; c) As the pool was not heated, we were unable to use (late March) and as it is quite big, the sunbathing areas are extremely limited - beware if you have small children; d) A neighbouring property had goats, which were extremely vocal (particularly the babies) and together with a distant (but quite loud) chainsaw, our days (particularly the early mornings!!) were not exactly as peaceful as the surroundings had led us to believe - this was a huge disappointment as we were attracted by the isolated location. We would definitely choose this villa again, and hope the chainsaw work has been completed!

The Villa was lovely, really quiet location with beautiful views all around. The surrounding countryside was very green, hilly farmland and trees. The villa garden was surrounded by trees and bushes so very secluded. Loads of birds tweeting. We went in the third week of March so the infinity style pool was still extremely cold. I would have liked it to be heated. The stone villa was also quite cold as it was early in the season so we needed to use the heating via the air conditioning units in the evenings . Unfortunately the unit in the main lounge area didn't work. We had to advise the rep who in turn told the villa owner. She organised for an engineer to come and fix it but this wasn't until the third day. We were told he'd arrive between 10am and 11am but didn't turn up until 3pm. It was a bit inconvenient as we didn't really want to be disturbed, but at least it got fixed. The villa owner was very apologetic and gifted us a huge bag of freshly picked oranges, lemons and grapefruits straight of the local trees. We enjoyed fresh juice daily as we found a lemon squeezer in the cupboard. The villa was spacious and had three bathrooms although we found that the hot water quickly ran out after two showers. There were only two of us so I think that if the villa had it's maximum occupancy of six this would be inconveient. We used the booster switch to heat more water, which took about 1/2 hour. The view from the main bedroom balcony was of the sea, although it was quite a distance away. The sunsets from the balcony were amazing. There were plenty of gheckos dashing about or basking on the warm stone bench in the garden. The barbeque is large but had no grill on it, the rep noticed this and said he'd inform the owner although it was never put in. Luckily we didn't need to use it as the evenings were quite chilly due to the time of year. Although we didn't use the pool much, other than a very brief dip now and again as the water was so cold, no one came to service it during the week, but this was fine for us. There was no towel change all week, but as there were only two of us we had plenty from the other rooms. I was a bit surprised to find no washing up liquid in the kitchen, we've used another villa rental company before, who provided this. I had to buy some and have left it behind. The villa is some distance from the few shops and restaurants in Argaka, too far to walk. The choice of restaurants isn't huge and most were almost empty as it was early in the season. The drive from the villa to the beach passes trees filled with oranges, grapefruits and lemons which is lovely to see. A lot of the fruit had dropped off and was just lying on the ground. The main road through Argaka runs alongside the beach but we didn't find it to be easily accessible with the car, there didn't seem to be anywhere to park. However we drove along the coast a bit and found another nice beach. Overall we had a lovely stay at Villa 'Sweet Memories'.

The instructions to find the villa are useless. It took the local taxi driver over 1 hour to find the villa in the last 1/2 mile. Signs to the villa are urgently needed as the last 1/2mile is an unmade dusty track that appears to lead to nowhere. Why are the basics salt, pepper, sugar, oil, vinegar, etc not left in the kitchen. Surely nobody bothers to take them home. Why dont you provide a dishwasher tablet/day when guests are never going to finish a pack in a week or 2.
