Having previously looked at routes in both Cyprus and the Algarve, we’re headed to Mallorca for our next cycling destination. With a consistently pleasant climate, this island is a fantastic place to take an active family holiday and boasts some fantastic cycling routes. Laid-back coastal Spanish living is at the heart of Mallorca, and inland you’ll find traditional fincas (farmhouses) dotted across the varied countryside.
Cycle past peaceful villages and monasteries; find limestone cliffs to the west, and stretches of pristine beaches to the east. During the peak cycling season, you’ll find areas like Alcudia bustling with visitors from around the world, and you’ll meet enthusiastic cyclists who can provide friendly advice on cycling in Mallorca. With cycling holidays becoming increasingly popular you can find a range of bike hire shops across the island making this beautiful destination perfect for beginners and experts alike.
