Resort: Mortero in Skopelos
Mortero is the ideal location for those wanting peaceful, natural surroundings whilst being close to a selection of beaches and the town. Skopelos Town, with its variety of amenities, is only a short drive away, as are the wonderful Panormos and Milia beaches. Here you will find white shingle beaches surrounded by pine-tree covered mountains that run down to the brilliant blue sea. Traditional tavernas specialising in fresh, local seafood can be found close to the beaches of Panormos, Milia and Elios.
"The villa was extremely spacious with wonderful views of the sea and surrounding area. It was very peaceful and we saw some spectacular sunsets. "
Mrs Farnell, Margate, July 2011
"Fantastic peaceful setting with amazing views. Good air conditioning , good maid service, very good holiday rep "
Mr Frith, Stockton-on-Tees, June 2009
"James Villas behaved in an exemplaty fashion last year when our holiday to Skopelos was cancelled with the collapse of the airline. Hence we booked with James again this year. our flights between Newcastle and Skaithos were extremely efficient at check in and left on time - almost unheard of with a package holiday. However, as someone who is 6 feet 4 inches (1.97 metres) tall, I found the seating very uncomfortable. My legs were virtually locked into poition between my seat-back and the back of the seat in front. However, the villa was lovely, the maid service amazing at twice a week, and overall we had a wonderful time. Keep it up. Don't let the accountants get you to raise profits by cutting quality and costs, and thereby damage your reputation. It has happened to holiday companies we have used. "
Mrs Parrish, Middlesbrough, May 2009
"The villa was everything we hoped it would be and the views were fantastic. We had lovely holiday thankyou! "
Mr Hart, Norwich, August 2008
"this was our seventh time with james villas it gets better every time not to happy about the six hour ferry transfer wait though "
Mr Evans, Worksop, August 2008
"Except for the delay in the flight out the whole experience was excellent and I would recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday "
