Held in Perugia from October 16th to 25th, the event celebrates all things chocolate, with chocolatiers from across the continent gathering to showcase their produce.
Over the ten days, Perugia will become a haven for those with a sweet tooth as tasting sessions are held and workshops take place to show visitors how different varieties of chocolate are made.
There will also be cooking classes showing food lovers how to use chocolate to create delicious dishes and of course holiday makers will be able to buy the best of the produce they taste during the festival to take home as souvenirs.
Those whose mouths are already watering at the thought of a visit to the Eurochocolate event could rent an Umbria villa in Castel Rigone.
Perugia is within east driving distance from here and holiday makers can also take a day trip to Lake Trasimeno.
