Enjoy the sound of music while on holidays in Bodrum

Brits with a taste for music who are opting to enjoy their summer holiday in villas in Turkey may want to venture towards Bodrum.

The resort in the south-west district of Turkey's Aegean Coast is preparing to get into the party spirit, thanks to two high-octane music festivals.

People who enjoy relaxing to the sounds of Mozart and Beethoven are sure to enjoy seeking out the sights and sounds of the Gumusluk International Classical Music Festival between July and September.

Featuring a number of concerts inside the hallowed walls of Bodrum's ancient church of Eklisia, classical music fans will be able to hear live sonatas first put together by some of the greatest composers in history.

Once this attraction draws to a close, music lovers staying in Turkey villas can keep themselves entertained by checking out the International Folk Dance Festival.

Also taking place in Bodrum, the event features performances by world-renowned vocal groups and folk dance specialists, all selected by the Folk World Company.
