Take holidays to Brittany 'to explore beautiful sights'

Holiday makers have been encouraged to seek out relaxing getaways in Brittany villas, thanks to the appeal of the French region.

Travel writer Jim Wildman told the Shropshire Star that the north-west area of France has plenty of positives when it comes to being a must-see holiday destination.

While not always guaranteed to deliver the hot sunny days which southern districts of France usually boast, families are almost certain to enjoy a warm climate.

Furthermore, Mr Wildman acknowledged that Brittany "is home to seemingly endless beautiful, sandy beaches and rocky headlands".

On top of this, the French destination is host to an array of small coves "where you can park up for free and just spend the day sitting, paddling, exploring rock pools and enjoying a picnic".

For Brits looking to venture further south while on holidays in France, a stay in Marseille in the spring months allows people to take in the Russian Festival in March, the Marseille Carnival in April and the National Qigong Day in May.
