The pretty Provençal village of Saint Saturnin les Avignon has the delightful calm atmosphere of a small provençal village whilst being close to the famous city of Avignon. Bordered by Napoleonic platain trees, the Boulevard de la Libération encircles the village, where busy restaurants and cafes form the meeting points for the locals. In the Place du 16 juin 1940, a fountain stands in front of the renovated church. Walking around the pretty flowered streets you will pass renovated houses, either painted or in natural stone, giving a charming village center. Quiet and located off the main tourist route, Saint-Saturnin-les-Avignon is a lovely Provençal village.

Ventabren is a lovely old stone village perched on a hill and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Cobbled streets wind their way between typical stone buildings, overlooked by the ruins of an old château. The village has a peaceful Provençal atmosphere ideal for relaxation and to get a taste of rural France. Not far from the village, you can see the world’s largest stone aqueduct (the Roquefavour aqueduct), which is 400 metres long and 83 metres high. Also within a short drive is the historic town of Aix-en-Provence, which is a great place to stroll round, with its fountains and beautiful architecture. Here you will also find a good variety of amenities.
