Star Island

Star Island has a fantastic location close to the renowned 192 with its vast array of shops, bars and restaurants, and just 4 miles from Disney. As well as being a convenient base for exploring all of the attractions Orlando has to offer, the resort has a good selection of facilities onsite, including a fitness centre, spa, large communal pool area and plenty of sports facilities including nine tennis courts, basketball courts, and a putting green. With Lake Cecile adjacent to the resort, Star Island also has the facility to offer fishing, and other water sports at various times throughout the year. Star Island has a casual, relaxed ambience, with the convenience of a well stocked onsite gift shop and snack bar located right by the pool. For those who prefer to be energetic, staff organise a weekly timetable of optional events and activities to suit all ages who wish to join in.

	The ‘Celebrity Spa’ at Star Island offers a wide range of healing and rejuvenating treatments including massages, pedicures and aromatherapy to name but a few. Packages are also available for special occasions, and a Jacuzzi area offers the perfect place to relax before or after a treatment.

A gift shop is located on site, offering a wide range of groceries, sundries and souvenirs.

Restaurant and bars

Star Island has two poolside snack bars offering a good selection of sandwiches, hot snacks and cocktails. One is located right next to the pool, and is open all day until 4pm, and the other is on the upper level overlooking the pool. This one opens at 4pm, and offers food and entertainment throughout the evening, including many themed nights. An American diner restaurant is also located is at the entrance to the resort, and other fine restaurants are within a mile of Star Island.

Pool

	Located at the centre of the resort, two communal pools are surrounded by sun loungers; a great place to spend relaxing days. The pools have a number of water features to enjoy, as well as a water slide.

	Located just beyond the pool area, nine well kept tennis courts are available for guests to use. Equipment can be hired for a small charge, and instructors are on hand if you would like some guidance.

	For the active guest, Star Island offers a spacious gym with a vast variety of machines so you can keep up with your fitness, even while on holiday! Separate men's and women's locker rooms are available, with showers, steam, sauna and whirlpool.

	As well as cycling, tennis and basketball, Star Island offers a large putting green and driving range, ideal for practicing your swing. The resort also offer a complimentary bucket of golf balls at 8:30 every morning. Lake Cecile is also onsite, offering the chance to participate in a spot of fishing, and other water sports at varios times throughout the year. Furthermore, a varied activity program runs throughout the year.
