Take your healthy habits to Menorca on holiday with you
People who are heading to a cheap villa in Menorca on holiday will no doubt be tempted to indulge in a few treats while they are away.
The region's many bars and restaurants will no doubt prove challenging for anyone trying to stick to a diet.
Writing in the Daily Mercury, Annette Sym advises that people take their healthy habits with them on holiday.
She noted that people go on holiday to relax and have a good time, and with this comes a relaxed eating regime which can seem a good idea at the time, but could be "very depressing" upon returning to the UK.
People should eat similarly to how they do at home, advises the expert, starting the day with a standard breakfast and abstaining from calorific treats at lunch.
However, since it is a holiday, the writer says that the weight watcher could pick whatever they like for the last meal of the day.
The secret, she says, is to "enjoy yourself in moderation", choosing to dine at different restaurants each night and even allowing for that special desert one night.
