Holidays to Menorca 'ideal for every family member'

People seeking holidays over the next 12 months have been advised to consider stays in villas in Menorca.

Lazaro Criado, tourism minister of Menorca, believes that the popular Spanish island "is a fantastic destination for everyone".

When it comes to family getaways, the expert pointed out that the destination boasts an array of long beaches and awe-inspiring natural attractions, all wrapped up in safe regions.

Furthermore, Mr Criado acknowledged: "It is the perfect destination for those seeking a romantic getaway, a value for money summer break or an adventure holiday."

The latter point is highlighted by the fact that holiday makers can enjoy kayaking, cycling, surfing and idyllic strolls along the Cami de Cavalls all while in Menorca villas.

First Choice and Thomson were also keen to praise holidays to the Spanish island recently, stating that "Menorca is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a beach holiday" throughout 2012.
