Books a Menorca villa and discover the natural beauty
Menorca villa holiday makers will find that the island provides them with a place to relax and "a Spanish treasure trove of natural beauty".
That is according to one travel writer, who explained in the Coventry Telegraph that the Balearic Island has more beaches than its sister islands of Mallorca and Ibiza combined.
Tina Junday highlighted Menorca's "quiet bays" and "soft sands", adding that the island has been successful in avoiding the negative effects of becoming a popular tourist attraction, managing instead to maintain its verdant foliage and Mediterranean charm.
"The modest island is sprinkled with shimmering harbours, solitary coves snuggled between cliffs and relaxing walking trails. But thats just a taster of a much bigger picture," she wrote.
Ms Junday also wrote about her time on the east of Mallorca, by the Port of Mahon, which, she explained, is one of the deepest natural ports in the world.
Menorca is the most family-orientated of the Balearic Islands and promises spectacular beaches, traditional villages and prehistoric sites filled with wondrous artefacts.
