See some stunning ceramics on a Mallorca holiday
Brits taking Mallorca villa holidays this summer will be able to absorb some local culture at an event being held to support a local craft.
The Marratxi Ceramics Biennale, which will be celebrating its third outing this year, is arranged as a showcase for artists and craftsmen working in the field of ceramics.
It attracts dozens of participants, who submit over 100 works to be assessed and judged.
The outstanding entries are organised into an exhibition, which Mallorca villa guests will be able to see at the Museu del Fang in Marratxi from May 29th to July 10th.
Marratxi is famous for its traditional pottery and has organised an event to celebrate the art form, the Fira del Fang, in March of every year since 1984.
As well as visiting local towns and absorbing some of Mallorca's culture, holiday makers can spend some time in seafront villages and resorts to see the island's coastal scenery.
Popular destinations among foreign visitors include Pollensa, Sa Rapita and Cala d'Or.
