See Andrea Bocelli and Elton John live on a Mallorca holiday

Britons taking a Mallorca holiday at the start of September may want to make sure they do not miss on a special concert taking place on the island.

Andrea Bocelli and Elton John will perform at the ONO stadium in Palma on September 4th, playing a five-hour set with the help of musicians and singers from the Balearic Symphony Orchestra and the University Choir of the Balearic Islands.

The stadium has a capacity of 34,000 and tickets are selling fast as both locals and tourists alike snap them up.

There are plenty of options when it comes to booking a cheap villa in Mallorca, so it should not be too difficult for music fans to find good accommodation for the concert.

Holiday makers could combine the show with a few days of sightseeing in Mallorca. Just a few highlights include the Cabrera Archipelago National Park, Pollensa's Sunday markets, the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountains and the mountain-top monastery at Valldemossa, where Chopin and George Sand tried to find a romantic hideaway.
