Playa Blanca in Lanzarote

A pretty, bustling resort with a sandy beach and popular promenade, Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on the Island of Lanzarote and is only 15 kilometres from the Timanfaya National Park. There are four stretches of shoreline, and close by is the nature reserve of Papagayo which hosts the best beaches on the island. The resort has a large harbour shared by fishing boats and ferries that take you to Fuerteventura. Take a water taxi from central Playa Blanca to the Marina Rubicon; home to smart yachts moored in a private marina. Pavement cafés and good seafood restaurants offer a relaxing atmosphere in which to unwind in the evening. The resort is host to several markets throughout the week offering local handicrafts.

Playa Blanca reviews

Mrs Green, Redcar, April 2012
start-quote review We stayed at this villa last year and knew it was very good and the things we thought could make it excellant they had done The only down side is the distance to the centre where the restraunts are but we took that as a means to walk off our dinner. You do need a torch our grandson sat in his buggy with a head torch on he enjoyed it and it woked well end-quote review
