Lanzarote tourists told of new San Bartolome tourist route
People seeking out stays in Lanzarote villas have the chance to explore one of the destination's oldest settlements like never before.
A new route has been set up along the historic centre of the popular Canary Island's town of San Bartolome.
Tourists will be able to easily glimpse all parts of the area, thanks to a variety of sign posts which highlight the centre's examples of colonial architecture.
By the time holiday makers have finished the new route in San Bartolome, they should have identified 13 points of interest, each of which are distinguished with their own name.
Some of the highlight attractions are the Molino de Don Jose Maria Gil windmill, the town's house museum Casa Museo Etnografico Tanit and the Canarian manor house Casa Ajei.
San Bartolome is just a short ride away from Lanzarote's capital city Arrecife, a resort which is well worth a visit in its own right.
As well as a seafront promenade made up of islets and reefs, Arrecife is also home to the Castles of San Jose and Lanzarote's Archaeological Museum.
