There is an excellent selection of restaurants and bars within Mijas, whilst the nearby town of Fuengirola also offers a range of restaurants, along with a cinema and various shops. Sotogrande is the ultimate Leisure Resort, and is situated in the province of Cadiz on the southwest coast of Spain. Covering an area of over 4000 acres, the resort boasts beautiful Andalusian countryside, including the Almenara Mountains which lead down to the Mediterranean Sea at the mouth of the Guadiaro river. The nearest local Spanish town of Alhaurin El Grande is a five minutes’ drive away, which is steeped in history and boasts stunning views across the Costa del Sol.
