Jazz it up on a Costa Calida villa holiday

From June 27th to July 25th, the International Jazz Festival will be taking place, with numerous performances being staged throughout the month.

Acts will include former Credence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty and Steve Winwood of Spencer David Group fame.

There will also be shows from orchestras, bands and soloists from around the world, both well-known and up-and-coming.

The first San Javier International Jazz Festival was held in 1998 and has taken place every year since then.

Tourists hoping to catch the event can book a Costa Calida villa holiday at the nearby Mar Menor Golf Resort, which boasts a wide variety of sporting facilities.

These include a nine-hole golf course designed by Jack Niklaus, a tennis court and two gymnasiums.

San Javier is situated on the Mar Menor coastline and is home to some beautiful beaches on which holiday makers could spend a day relaxing.
