Holidays in Spain 'top option for Brits this summer'
Costa Blanca villas could be in high demand among Brits this Easter, with figures released by a car hire company showing that Spain is the most popular destination for a spring getaway.
Holiday Autos revealed that Spain is the top choice among customers arranging vehicle rental in the weeks beginning March 21st and 28th.
The company said it had seen a "surge in bookings" from people heading to Spain for Easter and advised customers to make arrangements soon if they are planning to hire a car.
Spain was followed in the list by France and the United States, suggesting that holiday villas in Provence, Florida and other popular destinations in these countries will see plenty of British visitors this spring.
Portugal featured in fourth place, while Italy, the Canary Islands and the Balearics also featured in the top ten.
British travellers who choose to visit the Costa Blanca for an Easter getaway this year can take some time to relax on some of the country's best beaches or visit some of the scenic towns dotted along the coast.
