Extra flights available for Costa Blanca holiday makers
Britons considering booking a last-minute Costa Blanca villa holiday this summer might want to take advantage of extra flights recently announced by Monarch.
The low-cost airline will launch additional flights to Alicante from Gatwick and Manchester on August 31st, which will run until September 5th to meet high demand during the last week of the summer holidays.
Tim Jeans, managing director of Monarch, said the airline has seen demand for holidays in the western Mediterranean soar in recent months as the pound has strengthened against the euro.
He commented: "The addition of these flights is in direct response to this."
Those looking to stay in a Costa Blanca villa after taking a flight to Alicante will find accommodation available in La Marina, La Nucia and Villamartin, among other destinations in the region.
Other villas can be found Calpe, Jalon Valley, Javea, Moraira and Denia.
Holiday makers will be able to take advantage of attractions and entertainment in these areas as well as in Alicante as part of a day trip to the city.
